Ashby Rose Hair

After seeing the excellent work Sydney did on my sister’s hair I immediately scheduled an appointment with her. Sydney listen to me about my concerns due to my hair and what I would like to achieve. She was able to get the color of my hair exactly how I’ve been wanting it! The cut she gave me was flawless! I highly recommend Sydney for anyone looking for a skilled beautician.

Since the change in ownership, the prices have skyrocketed without any improvement in service. My regular cut and all over color (black) jumped from $183 to $238.40 because the owner now passes the full cost of products directly to customers. A 26% price increase would be tolerable if the quality justified it—but it doesn’t. I’ve given Colleen multiple chances, hoping her work would improve over time. It hasn’t. While the haircut itself is fine and she is sweet, the overall experience is consistently unprofessional. My shirts are soaked during every shampoo, and several have been permanently ruined and stained with black dye. Each visit ends with me rushing home to scrub dye off my face and to change my soaking wet shirt. My most recent appointment left dye all over my hairline, ears, and even my earrings. This level of carelessness is unacceptable, especially at these inflated prices. I will not be returning.

Whitney at Ashby Rose is AMAZING! This was my first appointment at Ashby Rose/with her, and she did an absolutely gorgeous dry cut. She immediately recognized why my hair was not laying correctly (I had been going to another salon for several years), and was able to debulk it without affecting the length. She also perfectly matched my color. I left the salon feeling better about my hair than I have in a very long time. The salon is clean, bright and a fun environment. They are also woman-owned!

I moved here from NYC and have a certain aesthetic that I like. This place has it all. It is definitely an upscale professional salon, that carries great products. All of the staff that I interacted with were very nice. My hairstylist is KeKe. I adore her. I wear my hair natural and needed some TLC. Keke made me feel so comfortable. It is a warm and inviting space. I observed the work on the other stylists; and they all were doing quality work. I have found my salon home.

Whitney is FANTASTIC!! Amazing every single time!! Also, Kylie does my 13 yo daughter’s hair, and we’re never changing from her!! My 10 yo daughter has had both Colleen and Tiffany who both do GREAT! They’re always friendly, fun and I leave feeling and looking great!!

Sydney is a color queen! She took me from this darker brown to a vibrant tangerine! It came out perfect! The salon is super cute and has great vibes. All the stylists are friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to see what Sydney and I do next!
