This is NOT the place to go if you want anything other than a standard cut. I went in for a consult on color I wanted, showed a reference pic, was told they can absolutely do that. I book 2 separate appointments, first they switch the stylist on me at the last second, then disaster hits. The left is my reference photo, the right is what I got. And the worst part? I called the next day and explained that my hair is not what I wanted at all, so can I get at least a partial refund? They immediately transfer me to a manager who is incredibly rude, stating "well fantasy colors aren’t a guarantee so what else do you want us to do." After I emailed her the photo she suddenly cared a little about listening to me, but would only offer a third appointment where a stylist who CLEARLY did not want to be there made the whole thing a slightly-less-ugly blue. It’s been a year and my hair still hasn’t recovered, and I never saw a dime back. I would rather cut my own hair and use cheap box dye than ever let this place near my hair again.

I had a really disappointing experience at Elevate Salon. I went in for a balayage and brought a photo of exactly what I wanted. Before we started, I specifically asked if the stylist could achieve that look, and she confidently said yes. Unfortunately, the end result was nothing like the picture. I should have left after she cut my hair unevenly, and I had to point it out for her to fix. Her response? "Oh, sorry about that." That should have been my first red flag. On top of that, she was extremely rough when handling my head—brushing over my ears so hard that they were raw by the end. She also seemed visibly distressed, repeatedly saying, "This isn’t my day." I guess shame on me for not listening and leaving before letting her touch my hair, but I was determined to have my hair done as a surprise for my husband after he had been away on a business trip. Instead of the blonde balayage I wanted, I ended up with barely noticeable, brassy streaks. The color was completely off, uneven, and not what I asked for. My husband couldn’t even tell I had my hair done at all. When I asked for a refund, I was told it’s their policy not to refund anyone. I explained that I wasn’t comfortable having anyone else from the salon touch my hair after this—especially since this is the second time someone from this salon has messed up my color. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, knowing I now have to spend even more time and money to get this fixed elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend this salon for balayage, or honestly, for hair services in general, based on my experience. Photos of what I wanted vs what I got.

We had a bachelorette party there. They arranged all the schedules phenomenally. All the girls were so excited and the services were excellent. For five clients we had about eight technicians and I absolutely loved mine I had a few new experiences and they were still very nice and amazing! A friend referred me for nails and I know why. I love they way my nails came out as do all girls. The offer touch up on nails for a week which was great due to the weather froze all the car doors overnight and I messed one up.

Our entire family goes here! Best salon around! My husband is always happy with his haircuts and the stylists are always so patient with our little boys! All of my cuts and colors have turned out even better than I expected! We haven’t had a stylist we didn’t like! Everyone is so kind and professional!

Very disappointing experience for me since my sister gets her hair done there and it always looks amazing. I asked for light brown and came out with the same color I went in with, minus the grey. $65 hair cut, couldn't even tell that my hair had been cut. The deep conditioner, which I thought was part of the color and didn't ask for was $28. One hour cost me over $300 just to color my grey roots!

I called to make an appointment for hair coloring. The receptionist did not ask what I wanted, just put down that I wanted hair coloring. That day they called saying my stylist was running behind, which was fine. She ended up being 30 minutes passed my appointment, which was fine since I had nothing else going on. She asked me what I wanted, which was dark hair with burgundy highlights. I was told she did not have time to do that, and could only do the dark hair. Which I was mad about because they should have maybe asked what I wanted so they could schedule accordingly. Then because I had dyed my hair light brown 7 months ago, I was told my hair wouldn't lift well, even though my hair was almost blonde by this point (this was what it was before the brown). My stylist ended up doing brown all over, she only did a demi so she could "lift it easier to do the burgundy next time". In the end she did not style it, just dried it. The brown wasn't as dark as I wanted it, in the sun you can see the blonde showing through. I also bought a product. The tip is based on the product and the service together which I thought was weird. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

I saw Ellea at the Edgewood salon today and absolutely would go again! I love what she did with my hair during the visit. Professional, very attentive, listened to what I wanted and made suggestions, friendly, blending techniques were exceptional, excellent service. Was scared because I had to find a new hairstylist since mine moved, super happy to find a new one after a walk in appointment.
