They really messed up my hair! So I went to this guy asking for a cut and color. I wanted what’s called a bixie and the color to be a dark ginger. He cut my hair first which I thought was strange, it was shorter than I originally wanted. He said it was "more fashionable". I didn’t really mind, the cut looked nice. Then came the color. He put bleach directly on my scalp. He kept walking away mid application to answer the phone. When it was finally time to rinse, he washed the bleach out and left me at the bowl for 15 minutes while mixing the color. That’s when I heard the whispering, they kept coming back to pull at strands of my hair. I’m guessing to test the elasticity. Instead of telling me my hair was damaged and it would be best to stop while we were ahead, he continued with the service. At that shampoo bowl he slathered color onto my head, onto my SCALP. Not even 5 minutes later my scalp was burning. Like on fire. I flagged someone down and they rinse me out. They walked me back to my chair and my hair was orange. My roots were platinum blonde and my ends were highlighter orange. Yes the color didn’t process all the way, I understand that. But it could’ve been processed properly if it wasn’t for the fact that my stylist put bleach on my scalp and let it sit for 30 minutes. Then he tried to convince me that the orange he gave me was the ginger I asked for, but you can see for yourself and come to you own conclusion. I do not trust him to fix my hair and at this point I just want a refund.

Today was my first time visiting Tony Hair Salon. I got a same day appointment based on the review pictures of layered cuts. I went in wanting to keep my length, get long layers and remove the heaviness of my Latina hair. Well… I feel like I hit the salon jackpot… I couldn’t have asked for a better cut! Tom really listened to what I wanted, viewed my inspiration images and articulated back his plan of action. It felt like we were on the same page the entire time. He really knew what he was doing with my long hair. I completely love my layered haircut and left a very happy customer! It’s so hard to find a hairstylist you can trust- but I’m a huge fan of Tom and the salon. I will absolutely be returning! The environment was calm, clean, upscale and had WiFi. I was seated immediately and felt relaxed from start to finish. Check out was a breeze too. Oh! And the price was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!

Their website doesn’t work—when I tried to open it, a warning popped up saying "your iPhone is hacked," and there was no real information about the salon. However, because of the 4.6 rating, I decided to give it a try. From the photos and the name of the salon, I assumed Tony was the only stylist, especially since no one asked me who I wanted to book with when I scheduled over the phone. I expected Tony, but I was assigned to Andy instead. Andy cut my hair in about 25 minutes, very simply and in a rushed manner. Andy only does exactly what you ask him to do. He knows the most basic techniques—how to cut and thin—but those are skills that any entry-level stylist can perform. He completely lacks styling awareness and has no sense of design. He doesn’t consider balance, layers, or the overall look. In other words, he just cuts mechanically, without any creativity or professional insight. The result was very unflattering, and now I have to spend more money to get it fixed at another salon. Truly disappointing.

My housemate and I trust Tony’s Hair Salon—and Tom in particular—for consistently beautiful but low-maintenance haircuts. Previously, we each tried other salons in the area but found they couldn’t deliver. Once we found this place, we haven’t looked back.

Worst haircut I've ever had. I asked for a straight cut, even showing examples of non layered hair, and to frame my face. He added layers which I absolutely did not want nor ask for and my hair is so uneven on both sides and is not symmetrical at all. I read reviews before choosing this place and thought I'd be in good hands but this is the worst haircut I've ever had. And when I contacted them to make it right, they offered for me to come back in and let him "fix it"! There shouldn't be anything that NEEDS to be fixed but given that there is, I'd never let the person who screwed it up to begin with touch my hair again! He'd have to cut it even shorter to even it out and it's already shorter than what I asked for. And to add insult to injury, my hair grows incredibly slow so I'm stuck with the lawnmower hack job for months until it grows out long enough for someone else to fix. Cannot believe I paid for this cut. But they curled and styled it before I was rushed out so I didn't notice how awful it was until I got home and took a shower. Don't waste your money here and be humiliated with a cut that looks like a 13 year old did with kitchen scissors.

I have been doing perms on my hair for a couple of years now. I wanted to try out a new place and came in and asked for a perm. I should them a picture and they continued with the process. Afterwards the result was nothing like the picture, my hair was fried, cut shorter then it needed to, and not curly at all. I went back to show them all the damage that they had caused to my previously long and bulky hair. They refused to give me a full refund ($300) and didn’t even bother apologizing. I will not be coming back and hope this helps you avoid a place who only cares about their profit and not the actual hair of the customers they are working on.

Tom worked on my hair yesterday after a long days of work! I’m glad I got to meet Tom because he did a great job. I told him I didn’t want my hair cut off I just wanted light layers & a trim just to cut off that "old energy" it felt great to feel softness in my hair again! Before & after pic shown here (the after pic I just woke up but hair still looks legit!) I will be coming back to get my hair colored 😁 they’re not the best photos of me 😅 I probably should have gotten a picture right after he was done with it! But I’m very happy with the results. The price was great too for a haircut!! I made sure to pay with cash tip too because everyone likes cash tips.
