Max always does an incredible job on my curly hair. They’re the first stylist I’ve gone to who understands what I want and executes it better than I imagine every time! It always looks great right away—no awkward "just got a new haircut" phase—and it grows out wonderfully. They always make me feel comfortable and I look forward to chatting with them, plus the vibe in the salon is great. I cut my own hair for years before finding a stylist, and I’m so glad to have finally found Max. Because of their great work I’m able to feel so much more confident about my hair! 100/5 stars

THE BEST EVER! It was my first visit, and I absolutely LOVED my experience here. Cassie is so helpful and friendly. She was absolutely perfect when it came to my color. I was using a previous color she did as a reference and she perfectly adapted it for my hair. I’m in love! Also the way cassie and Max coordinated was amazing. I always get super nervous when I’m finding a new person to cut my hair, but Max is a true expert. I liked the cut I had previously that had grown out and desire not having a reference photo max was able to refresh and even improve my haircut. They’re a true wizard!! Also the overall vibe in the shop is incredible. Super welcoming and fun. They’re not pushy with products and keep it very real. Pricing is totally fair too, especially given the absolutely magic they do. I almost wish my hair grew faster so I could go back sooner!

One of my favorite businesses in the triangle, hands down. As an alt girly it’s always a challenge to find a salon that not only makes me feel comfortable but is also proficient in cutting and coloring outside of the standard blonde, brunette, straight hair, long layers-type hair. Having naturally curly, fine, fashion color means I need somebody that really knows their stuff. I’m so happy to have found the Haircraft team. Immediately when you walk in you’re greeted with rainbows, pronoun stickers, and colorful hair. I feel right at home! Their decor an eclectic playlist has something for everyone, and I love the personalized work stations. Don’t let the rainbow hair fool you though, they can do it all! Cassie and Carleigh make up my team of baddies-Cassie colors and Carleigh cuts. They’ve become very good friends of mine and walking into this place of business now feels like walking into a friend’s house. They always listen to my vague descriptions of how I want my hair to look, and never bat an eye when I’m being particular. I adore you all!

I had always wanted rainbow hair but I was nervous. I met Cassie at Shakori Hills in the spring and knew that if I ever was going to get my dream hair it would be in their chair (which might be the most comfortable salon chairs period.) I drove 3 hours from the mountains on my 34th birthday to get the hair I had always wanted. When I came into the studio she had her booth decorated for me and it made me feel truly special and also safe, I knew she was super invested in making me look how I wanted to. I am pretty low maintenance and had dark brown hair. She mixed colors so it looked natural! Like it’s crazy to say how natural my rainbow hair looks. She chose this gorgeous earth tones that match my vibes and coloring so well. We called it Rainbow Kombucha… "It’s giving fresh produce" 🌈🍀🧡 Even a month and some change later, it still looks freaking awesome because of her placement with the colors. A true artist. I can’t wait to see them again! Worth it. ✨ Freaking love this Salon. And everyone who works there is so chill and I felt so comfortable. Oh and their drink options are clutch! 😋

I got a haircut yesterday with Max and it was a great experience. They were super attentive and talked through the entire cut with me first which helped calm my nerves for the big change. By far the best haircut I’ve gotten. There was a great energy and everyone in the salon was very kind and welcoming.

HairCraft is not only my favorite salon, but my favorite place of business. My stylist is Alexis and she is AMAZING, but all of the people there are so incredibly talented, kind, thoughtful and fun. I always leave feeling great and looking so gorgeous!!!!

I love this place! Best salon experience ever. As soon as you walk in the door you feel welcomed (and they have great snacks:). As for the hair, I needed a change and Max delivered! They listened to what I wanted and even took the time to punch up the color when I loved the purple. They did such an awesome job that strangers have been complimenting me everywhere I go. I had such a fun time talking to them and Carleigh that the hours just flew by. You can really tell everyone there loves what they do and cares about their clients. I felt so energized from the new cut and color, but also because of the company!
