Love this shop! 3 years going strong and my hair is down my back 🤭….i usually wash and blow dry my hair to save time. But overall, some of the best braiding in NYC.

My stylist was superb. Professional on time! They over charged me and didn’t think I’d notice but it was the holiday and I didn’t feel like saying anything. People always want a reaction won’t be returning for said reason.

Horrible service. I booked for 12:30 cause I had to travel later in the day. The stylist calls me 1hr before the booking pushing it back to 1:30. When I arrive someone is in the chair 🚩 Then they have me wait 30 mins ; then directs me to the sink to wash my ALREADY WASHED hair 🚩 I never asked for a wash or deep conditioning Stylist tells me oh it’s part of the deal on Monday and Wednesday. 3 hrs pass and 5 braids down waiting on the 6 Worker comes to collect funds and telling me since I added the wash and deep conditioning it’s extra. Again never asked for my Freshly washed hair to be washed again. Missed my flight to travel that day and would never go back . Hope they become more professional

Yamaris is such a kind , young , talented braider whose attention to detail is so keen . If you give her a reference photo of what you would like done , she will put her own spin on it and blow you away with the results. Coming from a person who is so meticulous when another person hands are in my head especially natural hair , she simply takes time to wash , condition & steam treatments in my hair every session before oiling my scalp & then proceeds to braid , making the experience very calming with her witty banter and assuring my hair is in good hands from start to finish. She very attentive when dealing with me. Overall I’m pleased with her work and professionalism & have had a successful booking with her since I switched her to be my main stylist 10/10😛💕!!

I have been going to this salon and I’m going to stop. With the amount of money people are spending the stylist can be more welcoming, I say hello to everyone when I walk in they don’t even respond. Even the stylist that did my son’s hair was not welcoming. The older woman that is the receptionist is very nice and the barber is nice and you can tell have manners. Then your charged for everything if I’m paying 120.00 for my son to get his hair twisted, washing should be included I was charged an extra 30.00 I called ahead told them I was running late do to car trouble I was charged an extra 15.00 so in total I paid 165 for a child to get twist his real hair. Not worth it all! Studio Bladez at least do Better with customer service/ Greeting your customers.

Studio Bladez is the spot to go to if you want to get your hair braided or twist, thats what i personally go in there for, but the ladies can do variety of hairstyles. The quality of service they provide is amazing and professional. Ive gotten my hair braided by both Nika & Judian, both amazing ladies. I would recommend either or any of the ladies, they're all great!!

Melisa is the absolute BEST hairstylist on the planet and the only person I let touch my head! She gets me right every single time and makes sure that her clients feel like superstars when they get out of her chair. Would recommend 1000/10!!!
