Yuko went out of her way to make sure that I got the result I was looking for. Lovely salon with very friendly and knowledgeable stylists.

The hairstylist was nice; however, the haircut turned out really bad. She styled my hair nicely after the cut, so I couldn’t tell whether it was good or bad at the time. But after one wash, my hair had no shape or layers, and the ends were very chunky. I had to go to another salon to get it fixed because I couldn’t bear it (it almost looked like I had chopped my own hair shorter). I paid $150 for this cut, and it was definitely not worth the price.

Salon Mizuno is wonderful. I do Japanese hair straightening here twice a year and they do an amazing job. My son and I also have our haircuts here and are always super happy with the results. Yuko and her whole team are are fabulous.

I love Salon Mizuno. Been getting my hair cut here since it opened. My kids have also had their hair cut here and love it. I highly recommend everything about this place - the hair stylists are awesome, the atmosphere is warm and relaxing, they support local artists. I always look forward to getting my hair cut.

Yuko is truly passionate about her job and she genuinely cares for her clients. She’s a good listener and when she works on my hair she goes even over the results that I am expecting. My haircut always last for long time and it naturally grows without loosing shape. The entire staff is super sweet and attentive. There’s always a good vibe when I walk in. I love Salon Mizuno!

This is a hidden gem -- wonderful, warm and welcoming. We brought our five-year-old here after he got a disappointing haircut somewhere else. Kenta was extremely attentive and patient, and very thoughtful about how he approached the haircut. He asked questions throughout and made sure we were happy with the cut as he finished it. The price was extremely fair, especially considering the quality and level of time and care that went into the haircut. We were thrilled and will be going back next time, and bringing our daughter, too.

Had a Japanese hair straightening the other day and this was my second time I’ve done with Salon Mizuno. I’ve been doing this Japanese hair straightening thing for 20 years, and especially in NY I didn’t find any hair salon that satisfied me until I found this place. People are very sweet and fun, extremely skilled and has pride on what they do!!
