I had a wonderful experience! I got my haircut by Kotomi, and she did a wonderful job. I felt she really listened and did exactly what I wanted. She was so kind and pleasant throughout the experience. I felt no judgement towards my dry and damaged hair, as I have experienced at other places. My hair feels so much healthier, despite a good amount of length being retained. Definitely one of the best haircuts I have gotten. It's a good price for such a quality haircut. Would definitely recommend!

After a bad haircut elsewhere, I was really hesitant about cutting my hair for a while. Mika at Room Salon absolutely delivered. I showed her a pic of my old style, explained my hair goals and she listened carefully. She cleaned everything up, and added just the right amount of texture. I’ve been growing my hair out, and she worked with what I had to bring it back to shape. It feels lighter and I can definitely work with this style.

Kotomi has been cutting and dyeing my hair for the past year or so. She is incredibly talented, always producing high quality results. I have naturally fine, brown hair and she successfully takes me to a platinum blonde without causing any damage. I've been bleaching my hair for almost 10 years across at least a dozen stylists, and Kotomi has done the best job of anyone. Kotomi also gave me the best haircut I have EVER had - exactly what I wanted. She does a great job of seeing the vision and bringing it to life. She is also careful, precise, and gentle while still producing results more quickly than most stylists are able to. I never even think about going somewhere else. I have also had my hair done once by Limi and had a similar experience! I was very happy with the color and cut. Highly recommend Room Salon.

Love it here! I had such a great time and experience with Takeo. He was very thoughtful and clearly a master of his craft. Not only is this place very affordable and fairly priced (which is rare in NYC), but an amazing high end cut. Love the way my hair turned out and can't wait to go back!

Mayuu has been cutting my hair for years, and I always appreciated so much her sensitivity, bubbly spirit, and technical mastery at digital perms. The cuts here are worth the expense because the grow out is seamless, and I only end up coming 1-2 times a year. I rarely feel compelled to leave business reviews, but Room has been so consistently good to me that it's the least I can do to show my support and pray they stay open forever. I especially appreciate the nurturing environment that has been cultivated there, from the staff that seems to genuinely support each other down to the lovely artwork scattered throughout. What's better than getting pampered amid plants and soothing music? I can't wait to come back soon 🙂

Nana did such a phenomenal job with my hair! I wanted to transition from a medium dark brown hair to a light color but hesitated for the longest time. I’m glad I got it done as Nana took her time with every strand of hair & made sure not to leave it in a damaged state. She’s a great conversationalist and made me feel welcomed during the entire visit. So happy about the outcome! Thanks Nana ❤️
