My first visit to Oro and I am definitely impressed. I had the pleasure of having my hair colored and treated by Yuya, what an amazing talent. The best color treatment I have ever had done. Yuya listened to exactly what i wanted and did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend this salon and especially Yuya! Amazing job.

I don’t know where to begin. The customer service was so amazing and sweet. I walked in and they were so welcoming . Being in the city it’s hard to find a hair stylist that really pays attention to detail and your hair health. I’ve never felt my hair so taken care of before until now. Throughout the cut and hair bleaching process Yuya took his time and was detailed throughout the entire process. Through the appointment Yuya made sure i was comfortable, through the bleach process and the hair wash process. The hair wash was amazing, almost fell asleep while he was shampooing. He was super gentle and funny! I will definitely be coming back. I’ve already booked my next appointment in November to dye my hair. Thank you guys for being so sweet and amazing. My new regulars for sure! Also the place is so amazingly aesthetic and beautiful and super clean! 💕💕

Yuya is great! I’m very happy with the haircut and service. However, I wasn’t happy with the unclear pricing on the website. I was quoted $70 online but was charged $100, and was told $70 is for men’s hair cut. This was unexpected. The website should be updated to clearly explain the pricing differences between men and women’s haircut, as well as between junior and senior stylists after selecting the service category and stylist.

Shampoo and blow dry with Yuya was phenomenal. Insanely well priced for a scalp massage and easily the best blowout I’ve had in years.

Best experience i've had in NY! Stylist Yuya has been wonderful, he patiently heard my thoughts and suggested a great solution to help me blend my before-bleached hair with the newly grown dark roots. He did amazing highlights and the whole process only took us 2 and half hours including a gorgeous blowdry!! Super efficient and friendly, had a great time and I love the outcome!

This is the second time I came to ORO, the service it’s excellent, and mostly I am very pleased with the results. Short hair cut requires the hair dresser to have a very skillful technique, and I found it here. Highly recommended

I’ve been seeing Yuya for a few years, and he never fails to make my hair look fantastic, from cuts that look great and are low maintenance to styling (which I never do on my own). Highly recommend you visit his salon in Brooklyn or the East Village!
