I had such a great experience here getting my hair braided! My original appointment got mixed up, but she was kind enough to take me in as a walk-in and still made time to do my hair—and I really appreciate that. She also gave me a really good hair wash beforehand, which made the whole experience even better. The service was super friendly and professional, and the braids came out beautifully. I also appreciated how she included my wife in the process by asking her how the braids looked—it showed she really cared about making sure we were happy with the result. You can tell she takes pride in her work. On top of that, the pricing was very affordable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending her to others!

I was originally going to Pitkin ave to get my hair braided but the B60 wasn't coming so I googled braiders in the area and lucked up on this spot. My hair came out looking better than the reference picture. I will definitely be back again 😊

I've been going to Kima for over two years now, and they're the best! Everyone is kind, professional, and extremely good at what they do. They're very reasonably priced for the high quality work they do, I'm always in and out and always very satisfied with my haircut! They're the only barbershop I'll be going to for a long time!

Got my hair dyed along with a wash and set and it was great! Clara did an incredible job and the atmosphere was friendly. Will be returning soon!
