This place is absolutely terrible. I can’t speak for the haircut side, but their so-called watch repair is a complete disaster. I brought my son in for his very first watch battery replacement—something simple that even a beginner should be able to handle. Instead, the man recklessly pried off the back cover, jammed it back on crooked, and then shrugged when I pointed it out, as if a crooked cover in someone’s watch didn’t matter. When pressed, he rotated it back without the slightest care, leaving deep scratches all over the case. No apology, no professionalism, no accountability—just total disregard. Now my son’s watch, which should have been a memorable keepsake, is ruined. Stay far away unless you want your property permanently scratched and mishandled. This business has no respect for its customers.

Hands down the best old-school barbershop in the bronx. Arthur, the owner, will give you the best, cleanest cut. Great conversations and hilarious jokes…. Ask for his "2 week cut"! You will love how you look!

I have gone to Continental and Arthur for the past 4 years. I go regularly for a trim and am able to get an appointment or walk in easily. He cuts with precision and is always reliable in giving me the hair cut I need. Even when I just need a quick clean up he takes his time and gives me an exceptional haircut. I bring my daughters with me when I get my hair cut and he is so nice and pleasant to them - he always offers a lollipop and smiles. Finally, the price for a haircut is a real deal and has been the same price the entire time I've gone there. Nice to support a local business! I highly recommend for men and kids!

This is a truly great barbershop. The owner of the shop, Arthur, is an amazing barber who consistently does an excellent job with haircuts. Arthur is also extremely warm and friendly to all customers, making everyone feel very welcome in his barbershop. I've been getting my hair cut by Arthur for going on 10 years now, and he is consistently the absolute best. High-quality service, machine+scissors, a perfectionist, courteous and attentive. Without fail, every time I come back from him, my girlfriend says, "Wow, you're looking handsome." Highly recommend!
