Star Struck Braids

Star is an absolute delight. She is friendly and courteous. The shop has a wonderful vibe. She has miracle fingers I felt no pain during the process or after. My braids are absolutely gorgeous. She finished before her estimated time and even used her own "Hair juice" products which smelled amazing. You better get you some of that. She has her own line of her products. She is my new beautician. I would recommend her over and over again.

I love Star's place of business. Its promotes a great atmosphere and Star is a very unique and idealistic individual, who cares about her constituents and gives the best advice for hair care. I first must say that it was a blessing to find someone that is very energetic kind well spoken and is full of joy. It was the best experience me and my son has had when it comes to getting are hair done. She will explain to you in detail about her services and I thought that was a big + I assure you that your experience getting your hair done will be well worth the time She does a very great job. Oh yea o bought forgot she uses Natural hair products. So take time to Book that Appointment I Promise you will enjoy ever moment.

Star is the first person to actually care about my hair. She gave me a lot of tips on maintaining and keeping up with it. She also does an amazing job braiding my hair without it hurting or being too tight. I recommend this store before I would anywhere else.

I found this place while scrolling FB marketplace. I messaged and I received a reply very quickly. I am new to locs and I two-strand twisted my hair 3 months ago and was ready for a re-twist. I am from NYC now living in western NC and there is no locticians or braiders in the area. Star Struck Braids is 1hr and 20 mins from me. I was skeptical but I booked and went. What a pleasant experience. I was late, I reached out via FB to let her know, she was very accommodating. She met me at the door, showed me inside, her shop is neat and clean. She has room for a sitting client and 2 waiting inside. She assessed my hair. Explained what she will be doing and worked efficiently and quickly. I also found her to be very personable. She also respected my need for not straight lines in my head, as I want my locs to be more boho than perfect. I will be going back in 6 weeks. Thankyou!! Star is amazing, she does braids fast, and they don’t hurt at all. They look amazing, and I’m incredibly happy I went to her. There’s no other braider like her. She’s friendly, kind, and the best at what she does.
