I have really dark coarse hair with greys and I initially just wanted Tina to match my hair to the already dyed bits. I decided to walk in to do a consult prior and she assessed me within 5 mins. I made an appointment, came in for it, and she was so thorough with the color, constantly checking in and adjusting, and she did such an impressive job! My hair is so silky smooth, I LOVE the color, and I walked out so happy!!! My experience with hair salons in Boston has honestly been less than ideal, and I’m so glad I trusted my intuition with Tina!

Tina did an incredible job! I wanted to change my style to pink/rose gold, and she gave me the results I wanted without damaging my hair from overbleaching. She checked in with me during every step of the process and made sure I was happy with the end result. Thank you so much!

A barbershop recommended by a friend, the owner is very satisfied with the haircut. She will listen to your request carefully and design it for you according to your face shape.

I called to make an appointment the July 4th weekend which was already packed, but Tina graciously fit in my appointment at the end of the day and even went past her closing time to finish my haircut. Both she and her assistant were kind and professional. I definitely recommend and would come back again! Prices were definitely reasonable for Boston. I have Asian hair that is pretty long, thick, and a little wavy though it mostly appears straight, so it generally takes more time to cut my hair. Also eager to support businesses that are run by WOC—and Tina and her assistant both are first gen immigrants who work super hard for their families. I asked/got to hear some of their stories this time when I met them, and they’re both incredible individuals!

Tina did an excellent job doing the Japanese hair straightening service on my hair. This hair procedure was expensive ($280) because of my long hair length (long hair above my hips), but it was worth the time and money. Not many people can perform this hair service like Tina. Even though I have Asian hair, my hair was very dry, frizzy, had breakage, and lots of split ends. She was able to revive and make my hair smooth, soft, and straight with her expensive professional hair tools and chemicals. It was worth it for me to drive from Springfield, MA to Brighton, MA in which was a total of a two-hour drive for me to get to her hair salon. Her hair salon is a hidden gem and I would like to recommend for others to visit. Tina was very professional, kind, patient, and talented. The parking situation in Brighton was tricky but the safest place for public parking would be CVS across the street then walk over to her salon. 5 stars all around for her!!! 🙂

The hairdresser didn’t warn me she’d use thinning shears, then decided to use them EXCESSIVELY on the top of my head. Walked out of there with about half the thickness/volume I walked in with. I can see my scalp in most lighting, and when I feel the hair on top of my head, half of it feels like a buzz cut. Surely missing the volume right now and wish I didn’t have to wait months to undo the damage. Volume before and volume after pics:
