This was my daughter’s first appointment ever in a hair salon and I’m so excited we chose this place for her first experience. Shelly was kind, sweet, funny and has a smile that lights up any place! She let me know what to do in order to maintain her hair moving forward… She communicates with my daughter thoroughly and her silk press came out better than I had imagined! Literally the best natural hair specialist I know. I’ve been going to Shelly for 4 years and I never regret sitting in her chair. She’s responsible for the health and length of my natural hair. Extremely professional , kind and knowledgeable of especially black women’s hair. I have 4c hair and anytime I get a silk press it literally looks like a relaxer!

Phenomenal service! After searching for a reliable, punctual, and professional salon for several years when I moved to CT I finally found Lotus Hair Studio. Shelly is a gifted hair stylist who is timely and professional. I’ve gotten many services including silk press, sew-ins, up-dos, clip-ins, etc. A plus is that the shop also offers braiding services by Donna. I’ve gotten knotless small braids plenty of times and she never disappoints. I highly recommend this hair salon.
