I brought my 89 year old Korean mother to Sun for a haircut and perm. My mother has not been happy since she moved to the Nashville area about 3 years ago, so I researched online for a Korean salon and found Straight Perm. My mother was very happy with her cut and perm. Sun was so professional and kind to my mother, and my mother couldn't say enough good things about her experience. Very professional. Reasonable price. If you are a male and Asian, this is hands down the best place to get your hair cut. Having lived in multiple metro cities across the east coast, was pleasantly surprised to come across this place. Cannot overstate the sheer skill, efficiency, and kindness all packaged into a fantastic cut every time I visit.

My boyfriend is Asian and we could never find a good hairstylist for his type of hair but finally we found her, she did an amazing job! She’s also very nice. Too bad we cannot come more often since we’re far away :/

I'm new to Nashville and also new to trying haircuts. I researched a bit about asian haircuts and came here to try a simple two-block haircut(undercut) and Ms.Sun did a quick an awesome job. I'll definitely be back to experiment and try other styles in the future.

I've been a loyal customer of this salon for over three years, visiting every six weeks without fail. As an Asian man, finding a stylist who understands my hair and desired style can be a challenge, but not here.

She will help you to be ready for any occasions (going to your workplace, participating in parties, and more) right after haircut. Your hair is washed clean and arranged with hairspray (if you want it). You will have to pay much more for the same service in this area.

Very nice perm, best service and friendly! She does everything from washing hair to haircut to a perm. I only trust her with my hair!
