Synergy is the best salon in town that is still reasonably priced! Everyone at the salon is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Sandee has been coloring and cutting my hair for years and is extremely talented. She listens to your wants and makes it a reality!

I decided to give Synergy a try after trying to get an appointment with my go-to salon for 3 weeks. I'm so happy I did! Allison is absolutely the best. She is extremely knowledgeable and did a fabulous job! I found a new salon!

Allison Clauson is a Elite/Senior level stylist at this Aveda salon and discovering this talented young professional in this welcoming, well managed salon is a discovery I wish I'd made ten years ago when I moved to the area because by the time I found Alison my hair was in woeful shape for cut and condition. It was a social media post on another opinion site that led me a year ago to Synergy Salon and Allison and I think fond thoughts of that person for taking the time to share her advice. I wanted to provide the same favor to others here. Thanks to Allison's skill I have enjoyed some of the best haircuts of my many decades of visiting a stylist anywhere (including in SEA, NYC and SF) and thanks to her advice on hair care products mine is in better shape than it has been in twenty years. She listens to her clients, communicates well on options and path forward, then uses her expertise to execute the ideas as discussed. She also is simply a delightful person. Allison does beautiful color work but I was ready to move to gray when I became her client and she has been so helpful in that transition with treatments and and product-home care advice. SCHEDULING: You may need to wait a few weeks to book your first appointment with Allison but once on her client list, being able to schedule planned appointments is easy to do. That is in part because the salon is very well managed with the owner on site most of the time. EXTRAS: Some spa services are available here too. For example, I have brows cared for by stylist Nicole; she does a great job on them and she also does the same for my husband's haircuts. EVERY AGE WELCOME: It is also worthwhile to say my husband and I, both of whom have social security eligibility well in our rearview mirror, feel just as well cared for as the young clients who come in. PARKING: Bonus points for the location, Boise address but on the cusp of both Eagle and Garden City on State Street, is it has a good sized parking lot. ACCESSIBILITY: Two ADA spaces in parking in the lot, level throughout the salon and ample space for customers who may use wheelchairs; since I've had multiple sclerosis since college years I pay attention.
