Hair by Natasha Reid “Curl Specialist”

When I first arrived in Boise in Oct 2021, I tried a couple of stylists, but hadn’t found the connection I was looking for so I called Sola Salon. I was told that Natasha was welcoming new clients. I was also told she was a Master Stylist which made me a little nervous. Well, at my first appointment she put me totally at ease and started asking what I was looking for. She is an excellent listener, shares new and innovative ideas for me to consider and has a warm, fun loving spirit! She has become more than a stylist, she is also my friend. When our daughter got married last June, she did everyone’s hair including our young granddaughter who thought she was really cool! If you book with Natasha, you will never be disappointed!

She's the absolute best. I've seen her multiple times now, and I absolutely love her. She knows how to listen to what you want. She's really nice and she's good at what she does. I've gotten a trim, blowout, and silk press by her. She never disappoints. She truly understands ethnic hair. She's probably the best hairstylist I've ever encountered since I've moved to the US. I would recommend anyone to Natasha. I will also keep going back.

I don't usually write reviews, but... This is the best haircut I've had in years! I came out of Natasha's studio feeling like a brand new person. I facetimed my mother and bragged about how excellent Natasha was and how much I wanted her to try out Natasha's haircut. I haven't gotten a haircut in more than six months because I have always had a bad experience, but I decided to do some research and found Natasha, and it's the best decision I made in 2023. Natasha listened to me and took the time to understand what I wanted; she asked me many questions before cutting my hair. She kept my hair long, just the way I wanted it. She is also very knowledgeable about hair, and being a hairstylist is her passion. She was patient and taught me how to style my wavy hair correctly. I would recommend her to anyone; she is fantastic! I could write a whole essay on how pleased I am today with the haircut Natasha gave me, but I'll keep it short, and if you're thinking about booking Natasha, do it!

Natasha is the best hair stylist I’ve had to date (I’m 39). I’ve been seeing her around 3 years for my cut and blonde highlights, and I love how she both tunes-ins to my personal style and offers insight on current hair trends. She genuinely cares about her clients and their results, and she’s great for an open dialogue overp what you’re thinking about your hair. On the practical side, her online scheduling is a breeze and she’s super responsive over text if you need to make changes. And she’s a speed 😈, which is great. She can cut and color my hair in half the time it used to take my prior stylists (this serious skill, not her rushing), meaning I have more free time! But best of all, she’s a joy to be around and I look forward to our few hours together when my roots grow out.

Natasha is magical! Seriously. She says she knows what to do with textured hair and she means it. I have fine, 2c curly/wavy hair. When I said I wanted to emphasize my natural texture, she gave me a haircut to shape it and then taught me how to style it. She was so dedicated to styling it that she GOT ON THE LITERAL GROUND to diffuse my hair properly. When she got done and I looked in the mirror, I swear I had to fight back good tears. She gave me Instagram-worthy naturally curly hair. I had no idea my hair could even do what she made it do. It was amazing. It was the first time I ever left a salon feeling confident about my curls...feeling like my natural hair was actually pretty. I am so grateful she gave me that feeling ♥️ Since she's trained to work magic on all types of hair, I would recommend her to anyone!

Natasha was kind, efficient and professional. She was super flexible with setting up an appointment and I’m very content with the perm she gave me. I’ll definitely be back and I would recommend her to anyone!
