Dime Salon - Hair and Nail Salon + Blowdry Bar

Within 4 days 5 of my acrylics came off. They haven’t even lasted a WEEK. They’re the most flimsiest acrylics I’ve ever had, they actually will snap IN HALF at the slightest tap. It’s not like I work hard with my hands either, I work in an office mostly taking phone calls and talking to clients. I’ve tried calling the salon and left a voicemail TWICE to see if I can have someone fix them but I haven’t heard anything back. The girl who did my nails at the time was very sweet but also very young and I sat there for about 3.5 hrs! I’m not sure if they supply their techs will the acrylics/products or if they supply their own but I’m extremely disappointed in the durability and quality. I feel like there’s nothing I can do and now I’m stuck paying more money to go somewhere else to have them taken off and completely redone. ***In the picture you can see I tried glueing two back on 🤦🏼‍♀️ ugh the struggle***

Lindsay is absolutely amazing! She is fast and very talented with design. My nails have never looked better. The salon is clean and has an overall welcoming environment.

We booked an appointment so we could get 3 pedi/manis before a wedding this weekend. It was really nice that they were able to do 3 at the same time. We were booked for 10 am, and we didn't get out of there until 1:40 (3.5 hours for a mani/pedi?!?!) Also, one person was so unhappy with her nails that she immediately booked another appointment at a different salon for the same day. During the manicure portion, the owner had to be flagged over by a nail tech who was noticed that it was taking way too long, the owner helped for a few minutes and then disappeared. Everyone was super nice, and the place looks so posh, but it felt as if we were getting our nails done at the beauty school because of how long it took and the subpar quality. Side note: They didn't cut the cuticles, massage our hands, put on lotion, or do any of that stuff so if you're looking for that, go to your local strip mall nail salon. I know my nails are kinda short, but these pictures should help you understand why it's baffling that it took that long. My toes look ok, and no one wants pictures of my gross feet.

This was a good enough manicure, but probably not if you're super picky. This felt like more of a polish change than a manicure from my experience. There was no cuticle trimming, which I really like because it makes the nails look a lot better. You can see mine look a little raggety in the photos. The polish was also a little uneven, with some on the cuticles, a few bubbles, and some of the sides missed. Obviously this is only really clear when you look up close, but I tend to like to stare at my nails a lot after I get them done. Overall the atmosphere is very posh-feeling and everyone was very nice.

When it comes to a gel mani, Lindsay SLAYS. Been seeing her for a few months now and love her to death. She’s darling, easy to talk to, and my nails are perfection every time.

I absolutely love this salon! I have been a loyal client for a very long time. The staff is very friendly easy going and professional! They made sure all my needs were met. When you walk in you are always greeted with good customer service and a smile. I haven't felt so comfortable at a salon in a very long time. Who knew getting your hair done would be fun? Staff always gives you great advice and if you are also looking for something specific they find anyway to make your hair goals come true! Definitely stop by and get your hair done by Carolina and the other fantastic girls here!
