My experience with Roots was nothing short of a whirlwind. As a bride having a wedding far from home, I had to rely on Google reviews and hope alone. I drove over an hour for my beauty trial, and, once everything was finalized, I thought I was good. Unfortunately, the night before the wedding I was messaged by the company that my makeup artist was terribly sick and unable to make it to my wedding the next day. The artist kindly offered to wear a mask and do what she could, but there was no way a sick person should have to work when they are ill enough to tell a bride they cannot make it. Luckily, Bianca was able to find another MUA who was available to do makeup. Emily the MUA showed up bright and early the next morning and absolutely took care of the whole bridal party. Not knowing what your make up will look like on your wedding day is incredibly scary, but Emily blew it out of the water. I looked and felt beautiful in the natural but enhanced bridal makeup she did for me. Our whole party’s skin looked like our own but better and more glowing. Emily's skills are above and beyond what I wanted for my big day. Not only did the makeup last all day, it held up against a full sun assault where our ceremony was held and, of course, dancing. I could not have been happier with how our makeup turned out. The whole experience could have been a disaster, but I was taken care of by Roots and the lovely MUA who saved my day.

I cannot say enough about the Roots hair and makeup team for my wedding, they were amazing! They traveled to the venue (Standing Rock Farms in Madison, OH) and did all of our hair and makeup at the venue in their bridal suite. The team was Bianca for makeup, and Logan and Amanda for hair. Owner and bridal coordinator Bianca was so great and easy to work with to get booked and schedule hair and makeup trials with. And their prices are very reasonable! I did my makeup trial with Bianca and my hair trial with Logan, who was already my hairdresser before the wedding. Both trials went flawlessly and I loved my look, and there was not much I wanted changed on the wedding day. They all arrived early to get set up and had an organized schedule which made sure everyone was done in plenty of time. Bianca was super understanding and flexible when our venue would not allow us to get into the bridal suite earlier in the morning to start getting ready. I was telling her about my frustration with the venue on this topic and she stepped in and offered to add another hair dresser at no extra cost to ensure that we could get ready in the bridal suite instead of having to go somewhere before that, and so we all could get done in time. Immediate stress off of my shoulders when she offered that and it worked out perfectly. Bianca, Amanda and Logan were all so much fun to hang out with the morning of the wedding! I had 4 bridesmaids, myself, MOB, MOG, and 2 flower girls and they got everyone's hair and makeup done beautifully and on time. Everyone LOVED their hair and makeup, everybody looked stunning. I will be completely honest, I do not wear any makeup on a daily basis, so I wanted something pretty "natural" but still "bridal." Bianca NAILED IT. Bianca and her team are true professionals and helped me feel so beautiful and confident on my wedding day. I absolutely recommend booking the Roots team for your wedding day!

Bianca is the best!!! She made me look and feel beautiful for the best day of my life! She took her time with myself and my bridesmaids and moms, and everyone was so happy with how their makeup looked! I couldn’t recommend Bianca and Roots enough to anyone looking to book makeup for any occasion!

Cassidy is literally a miracle worker!! Not only is she the sweetest but my hair feels and looks amazing! She takes her time and perfects every little detail! I have a ton of hair and it’s very dense and no one has cut it as perfect and the color is amazing! The owner was so nice too and greeted every client that walked in!

Bianca and Sarah did me and my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding. Not only are they great at what they do, they fit right in with us and the vibe of the morning. They worked with all 9 of my bridesmaid to match their individual preferences and style. Bianca was quick to answer my texts with all my questions and helped me find a makeup look that I absolutely loved.
