Binta African Hair Braiding

I loved my hair last year! I was in Birmingham for work. Binta did it and I can’t wait to go back next month.

Went in yesterday so she could see the length of my hair . Made appointment for 8:30am Saturday She was so pleasant , shop was clean and she braided my short hair so neat . I have been to many African shops but I rate this one with 10 stars I will definitely be a loyal customer going forward Thanks Binta

I like the work but everything else sucks. I asked for two people to braid my hair because of the timeframe. She agreed. I paid. Halfway into service she tells me they both have to leave. I’m sitting here NOW ALONE in her place of business with unfinished hair. I should have been made aware of this before service so I could make the decision of if I wanted to keep the appointment.I WILL NOT BE BACK. She stops to feed kids, talk on phone, pray (that’s fine) AND leave to go spend money I paid her for a service she hasn’t finished. Very disappointed is a understatement.

Fatima is great at what she does. She is super professional, quick, neat, and always nice. I love coming to her for my braids.

SAVE YOUR MONEY BAES‼️‼️‼️ She stood me up. And wasted my time. I schedule an appointment this past Friday for her to do some quick feeders. I was told she was too busy Friday but can take me in the afternoon on Saturday. That’s fine, I understand braids take FOREVER, so I understood. Saturday comes, I call to check and see if we are still on? She said yes we are. The afternoon gets here she tells me that she is running behind but "might" be done by 6:30pm and that she will call! COOL! I wasn’t even upset at the fact that it is 4 hours past the time of the appointment, I UNDERSTOOD. At this point I was just happy that she was doing my hair, keep in mind I been here before and she did a great job that I wanted to become a regular. It is now 7:56pm, I’m calling, I’m texting, I’m getting sent to voicemail. 🤨 I have a schedule interview for Monday morning, the point of this was to have my hair neat and ready for that. She didn’t know this.. yet it really didn’t matter I schedule a time and place and you agree with yes? Ma’am if you was too busy or KNEW you wasn’t going to be able to get to me why did you let me wait on you? She literally wasted my whole day when someone else could have made some money. And she knew because now ain’t no one answering the phone. Goodluck to the "shop" but you do not mess over good people and think you can "carry on". She didn’t have too set an appointment at the end of the day she could have simply said no, can’t do it.
