I really wanted to like this company since the membership sounds perfect, but in the end I do not feel like it was worth the money. The positive was that they were very friendly. I felt like both the colorist and the hair washer/blowout technician were not gentle. I had color stains all over the place on my face and neck and they did not wash all the color off of my scalp. I feel like it would be worth it to pay $40 more and get a really nice spa like treatment at a salon.

My hair stylist was very patient and thorough, and she gave me great advise. The person who washed my hair was also great. She was patient, thorough, and gave me a great head massage .

I love this place! I get my roots done every three weeks and I always leave looking great. I have been coming here since they opened (before COVID). Easy to schedule on the app, lots of availability, they always take me on time and it is well organized. Colorists are so friendly and greet me by name and are skilled in helping with color. Colorists are ALL great.

I've been going to MR Color Bar in Bethesda for over a year and are a regular client - monthly - due to the ease in booking into my schedule, great service, and hair color products. My teenage daughter also gets all-over-color and has been happy with MR as well I love Danielle's knowledge of color and service! I can't recommend the business model enough if you are someone who is constantly coloring roots and/or looking for new highlights or all over great color.

I can’t say enough good things about Madison Reed Color Bar. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and cared for. The team was so kind and really listened to what I wanted for my hair. My color came out absolutely beautiful—natural, vibrant, and it gave me such a boost of confidence. What I loved most was how easy and stress-free the whole experience was. It didn’t feel rushed, but it also didn’t take all day like other salons I’ve been to. My hair feels so soft and healthy, and I honestly left feeling like the best version of myself. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Love this branch of MR. Kaylah is the best —my hair has never looked more radiant or felt more "me." She always nails the tone while making the whole appointment fun and effortless. And a special thanks to Jasmine for that great shampoo- I really appreciated her already getting the water warm before I sat down.

Banessa was my colorist and she did a fantastic job. I went grey during the pandemic, but found it made me feel drab, so Banessa recommended lowlights and a gloss and the results are amazing. I'll be back.
