I’ve been going to this salon for years and love my cuts and color from Yoonski! I just tried the new Head Spa with Luisa and it was amazing! I’ve been to a lot of spas, and this was probably the most relaxing 60 minute experience I’ve had. She did a scalp analysis, cleansing, massage, and relaxation. All amazing! I highly recommend the salon, head spa, Luisa, and Yoonski!

I’ve booked with Madinah multiple times and have always appreciated the quality of her haircuts. However, I’ve also consistently had to wait 20–30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, which I’ve been understanding about. At my most recent appointment, I called ahead to let the salon know I was running late due to a minor family emergency. The receptionist reassured me not to stress and said there was still time, as it was the last appointment of the day. When I arrived approximately 30 minutes late, I was told that only a haircut could be done and that I would still be charged $90, without the full service I had originally booked. While I understand that timing affects scheduling, the experience felt inconsistent given the flexibility I’ve extended in the past when appointments have run behind. As a returning client and a parent managing unexpected situations, I would have appreciated clearer communication or more consideration. Additionally, during a previous color appointment, my hair was over-processed, which resulted in noticeable breakage. While I chose to continue booking in good faith, this recent experience left me disappointed overall. Madinah is talented, but I hope the salon can improve consistency in both service and communication with clients.

I love this place. I walked in for a blowout for the first time not knowing what to expect. Dmitri who did my blowout was excellent. He got the exact effect I wanted. He’s also very friendly and has a great rapport with his clients. Today I came back for a root color & blowout. Sharon did my hair - she’s one of the most skilled hair stylists I’ve gone to. I would recommend Dmitri, Sharon & Franz Sebastian to anyone looking for a professional service.

I tried the 60 minute head spa scalp massage with Luisa. It was great! Luisa was so sweet and very excited for me since it was my first time. The salon is very pretty and feels new. Luisa used this camera on my scalp that showed all the build up which I was very surprised by. She then used the camera after the scalp treatment and so much of the build up was gone. I really enjoyed myself and meeting Luisa.

I cannot recommend Dmitri highly enough! After visiting numerous hairdressers across DC and Bethesda and never being quite satisfied with the results, finding Dmitri has been a total game-changer. He is a truly talented hairdresser who actually executes a great cut (male hair cut) every single time. Beyond his technical skills, he is incredibly friendly and makes the entire visit a warm, wholesome experience. I always leave the chair feeling good and looking better. If you’re looking for a stylist whose skills you can trust, go see Dmitri—I unqualifiedly recommend him!

I got the head spa treatment from Luisa and OMG. My life is forever changed!! Not only is she amazing and sweet, but her scalp massage was to die for. She’s very knowledgeable on scalp and hair health and explained everything to me step by step. My hair was so smooth and beautiful after. I highly recommend booking this service with her. You will not regret it!!

The Head Spa treatment with Luisa was an absolute 10/10. I definitely cheated myself by only booking the 30-minute session, but even paired with a gloss, blowout, and straightening, it was truly incredible. The spa room itself is serene and calming, and so peaceful you forget you’re in a salon. I won’t spoil the experience with a play-by-play, but just know that from start to finish you melt right into the seat. I walked out with a refreshed scalp, silky hair, and feeling 10x better than when I walked in. Highly recommend!
