Bella Bethesda Salon

Price does not match the quality of the service. This was my first time at Bella and I was extremely dissappinted in the quality of my service for the price I paid. To start my shampoo was done by someone other than my stylist who seemed very nervous about hurting me or my hair, I have fine thin hair, which k appreciated their concern but I could feel that they weren't shampooing my whole head and were missing big areas, as well as not being thorough enough. I also only needed a trim and I have straight fine hair and just like my ends to be one length all across. I expressed to my stylist that I just needed a trim but wanted to make sure that all the dead-end were cut off. It had been longer than normal from my last appointment so I knew at least an inch needed to come off, which we had agreed on before she started cutting my hair. My biggest gripe with the service was that the actual time spent cutting my hair was less than 5 minutes. I know I have uncomplicated hair and was asking for an easy cut but I have never had a stylist spend so little time making sure they were getting all the hair to the exact same length. I have gone to other salons and paid a similar price and had way more time, attention, and detail spent on the cut of my hair. My stylist asked me if I wanted her to cut more and I couldn't tell by looking at my wet hair so I asked her honest opinion if all the dead hair was gone. She said she wasn't sure and that we shpukd blow dry it and then decide. I agreed and then she blow dried and styled my hair and the ends looked fine because of the product in them. The next day when my hair was air dried and not styled I could tell unhealthy hair was left on my ends. I was greatly disappointed and had hoped that my stylist had the knowledge to know if all the hair I had asked to be cut off was removed and had spent my time being precise about my cut. Overall, my hair looks fine but my experience and the cut are not at all worth the price I paid. I dont think I would return or recommend this salon.

Friendly and personable staff...great service as well. The salon is kept squeaky clean, including the bathroom (although it could use some paper towels). Ngoc gives the best haircuts I've ever had in my life. Amazingly, his haircuts age super well over time. When we confer before my haircut, Ngoc really listens during our discussion about the direction I might want to go with my hair, and I feel that he makes great recommendations for a look that fits the shape of my face, head, and body. When he cuts, you can tell he cares about the outcome; he's laser-focused. Ngoc will, most definitely, NOT disappoint. 💇‍♀️💇‍♂️ 👍👍

I had such a wonderful experience at Bella Bethesda with my stylist, Beca! She truly took her time and did an amazing job. She matched the color I wanted perfectly, and the way she placed the balayage is flawless; it added so much depth and contrast to my hair. I absolutely love how it turned out. Beca also gave me a fantastic haircut that left my hair looking shiny, healthy, and low-maintenance. Thanks for everything!

I have a hard time finding salons that can manage my thick, curly, long hair but Bella Bethesda does it perfectly. Julia takes care of me every time I visit and I recommend to all my friends and co-workers. I always feel pampered and taken care of at Bella.

I’ve been seeing Jamie for a little over a year and she is simply the best. After moving to the area and trying several salons, I got lucky by chance when I was booked with her — and I’ve never looked back. I previously worked in a salon, so I really appreciate great quality and service, and this place delivers on both. Jamie is incredibly talented, and the entire salon has such a welcoming, friendly vibe. I couldn’t recommend her more.

Bella Bethesda delivers consistently excellent service, from the moment I check in for my appointment to checking out and setting up my next appointment. I've seen the same stylist, Beca, several times now and she is outstanding at her craft. I get a curly cut and, unlike curly cuts I've received from other salons, Beca brings more creativity and style to the cut. She takes her time and listens to her clients.

He is highly talented and took 10 years off my age with this most recent haircut, refreshing my hair’s feel. He blends cutting-edge style with what’s right for your features…much appreciated! He’s fun to talk with also, with a calming personality.
