I had to update my review.. I loved the staff but I just noticed my perm is flat today I followed typical hair instructions no washing and just 24 hours after my curly perm it is flat and my roots are curly? I am so confused why and how I don’t dye my hair and this was a basic curly perm..I’m so disappointed and sad over this.. I was hoping this would be my new local spot to go and I thought my perm would turn out well I tipped 60 and the service was 200.. so I just am confused why my hair is flat and I wanted curls.. I haven’t done perm in years but I don’t ever think a perm should be flat the day after.

I love Kami!! She did my haircut so well! It turned out the way I wanted! Her patience is amazing even if I have thick and long hair. I definitely recommend this hairsalon 😁 I’m satisfied.

Been coming here for the past 4 years for Sophie, even after moving out of Berkeley. Make sure to schedule with Sophie ahead of time, as her slots fill up fast. Highly recommend!

I’ve been getting haircut here from Sophie since I was a freshman in college (almost 20 years ago!!!) and she is the best barber I’ve had. Attentive, friendly, and really knows her craft. Thank you Sophie for taking care of me all these years.

Nice staff lady, but they don’t know how to do women hair well. Asked for layers n curtain bangs, very choppy layers and bangs. The layers didn’t blend at all.

My daughter went for her full hair color today. The lady messed up her hair so bad that my daughter went into shock and it took us much time to calm her down. Edge salon is pathetic and unprofessional and the staff have no idea what the hell they are doing with her hair. They need to fix my daughter hair otherwise I’m gonna put a ad on social media about their unprofessionalism and how they ruined my daughter hair. If they do not know how to do it , they should have said it, the lady completely burnt my daughter hair and she was crying like hell. Fix it or ready for bad name. Mom iaza

The whole staff here is great. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Anna, Kim, and Kami for many years and I have never had a bad haircut or bad experience.
