Hi everyone, I’m writing this as a PSA for anyone who is currently a client or looking to book with miracle. I don’t even know where to start but I guess at the beginning works. Everything started out great, miracle was very professional over text as we discussed what I wanted to do with my hair. I was looking to get bead in extensions from her and had been sending photos with her back and forth of what I wanted and what my hair looked like currently. Maybe a dumb part on my end but it also wasn’t disclosed by her that she is not a licensed cosmetologist so she was unable to cut my hair after putting extensions in. That was disclosed to me after I sat in her chair but I still figured it would be fine I could just cut my hair at home. We had originally scheduled for a Friday but she asked to reschedule for Saturday due to family being in town. We rescheduled for the same time which was supposed to be 2pm. I showed up on time and went inside. They didn’t know why I was there and initially sat me down to get a tooth gem to which I had to explain I was there for extensions. I then sat and waited for over an hour before I was finally able to sit in her chair. It was then that she disclosed she couldn’t cut my hair, I have a hard time speaking up when it comes to hair, nails, ect so I told her it was ok I would just cut my hair on my own since she assured me the extensions would be very full and easy to blend. She did the first row of my hair and everything seemed to be going fine except I wasn’t facing the mirror the whole appointment which kinda bothered me since I couldn’t see the work that was happening. However about 30-45mins into my appointment miracles friend showed up and they were chatting about her doing miracles hair after my appointment. This new woman came over to us and miracle started teaching her how to do the extensions on my head then allowed her to take over the appointment for a little while. I had booked with miracle not this other person. Still I said nothing and I deeply regret this now as I was just trying to trust the process. This was my first time getting extensions like this and I had disclosed this to miracle as well that I had no idea what it was supposed to feel like and I told her I trusted her. Throughout the appointment it was a bit chaotic. One of her children was flying a drone she got for Christmas around the salon for extended periods of time. I also realized that her children were extremely sick, coughing, sneezing and despite her best efforts to keep them in a corner playing they came over to the chair constantly and at one point I was coughed on and felt wetness on my hand… Still I sat and got through it, just looking forward to having long hair again before going on vacation in two days. I would also like to add that unfortunately the bathroom got locked a quarter of the way through my appointment and there were no efforts to unlock it so I had to hold my bladder for over half my appointment. The other woman keeps working on my hair and miracle comes back over to check constantly and then takes over at the end of the appointment again. By the time they’re done they have only spoken to me a handful of times, I was almost completely ignored except for the times I was turned around to face the mirror and "check" my hair. But as I had disclosed to miracle I had no idea what i was supposed to be "checking". I had short hair to start and I told her I was worried about thickness but she reassured me that once all the hair was in it would be thick and filled out and I would just have to do a little bit of blending. When I was finally "done" with my appointment I was turned around to face the mirror. Again I struggle with confrontation in these situations but when I saw what I looked like I couldn’t even fake a smile…. I recently got box braids done here and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Shortly after leaving my appointment, multiple braids began unraveling at the ends. Box braids should not come undone that quickly which indicates poor installation. The service was also very expensive. I paid close to $400 in total. On the business page, it states that hair is included with box braids, however I was charged additional fees. The final price was significantly higher than expected. I contacted her immediately after noticing the braids unraveling. She responded two days later offering to fix them, but I had already left for a pre-scheduled trip. When I requested a refund due to the defective service, she refused and insisted the work was done correctly . (The pictures are not even 24hrs later) My mistake was leaving the salon without looking the back because it was already late and I was tired from work. I am not someone who normally writes reviews, but this experience was extreme. Looking back, I regret not paying closer attention to the lower-rated reviews, as my experience was more aligned with those concerns. If you have other options, I strongly recommend considering them.

Miracle gives exceptional service. She is highly dedicated to her craft! She has a great atmosphere in the shop and my experience is always pleasant. I couldn’t imagine anyone else working on my twist! 10/10 I highly recommend.

I received hair tinsel from Miracle and it stayed in so long!! I washed my hair multiple times (gentle now y’all) over the course of two months and my tinsel held up. I received so many compliments and she knew right where to place them so I could see them too! I highly recommend this business! Go check them out.

I’ve been going to Mircles since the year she opened. Theirs not a lot of hair braiders in Whatcom that can keep it clean looking. Miracle knows what she’s doing. The vibes she sets at her office is warm, outgoing and makes you feel like you’re going to meet up with your bestie and catch up on all the things in life. She allows you to set the tone with the conversation. If you wanna just chill that's cool or if you’re needing to vent she’s your girl. Her price is fair and overall pleased with everything she offers!
