Jen is amazing! I have not gone to anyone else for years because she always does a great job! My best friend also goes to her. She has really curly hair and has always had a hard time finding a stylist she likes who can handle her curls, but Jen kills it every time! She is really good at razor cuts too, which is great because I love a lot of layers while keeping my length! Highly recommend.

Jen is literally the best stylist I have ever had. I end up telling her every single time I leave that it’s the best cut I’ve ever had, and I always mean it. I have wavy/curly hair, so it’s been a struggle my entire life to find someone who can both cut it AND style it how I want while not leaving me feeling like it will shrink into oblivion when dried. When the other two stylists I had in the past moved, I was referred to Jen, and now I would fly to her to have her cut my hair if she ever moved too! If you are looking for the perfect facial framing or the best shag in Bellingham, you got to book her (also arguably the best view of the bay from her location)!

I found Jen by accident, when my guy (who I seriously love), was out of town. But once I met her, there was no going back. I know you know, that hair "break-ups" are hard. So taking that step was not done, lightly. I've lived in so many different places I doubt I could recall them all. Cities of Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix... and being a professional musician, Ive done my time in "the chair". The thing is, although Ive had some very talented hairstylists , what I haven't met, was anyone better at it, than Jen. I originally went in for a color. I wanted something a bit unusual, difficult to explain. But she was so confident in her ability, I was completely comfortable letting her run with an idea. And it resulted in a look I'd been trying to achieve for years but just never found. I went back later for a cut. And truthfully, I have NEVER (yes. That's a strong word), had a cut this good. I opted for heavy layering (an art I thought was gone with the 80's), but even though Jen is obviously far younger, she actually knew how to layer. Not slide the scissors down the side (no disrespect intended), but to LAYER. And the cut is so perfect and grows out so beautifully, I can easily stretch appts out for 2.5 -3 months. I only need to actually style my hair, maybe twice a week, and the cut holds so perfectly, a quick blow-dry with texturizing spray is all that's needed to put it right back in place. I can't say enough about Jen. She's ultra careful to use products without chemicals, and gets specialty coloring all the way from Australia, which meet her demands. Jen is a master at hair design. A different designer had been cutting my hair for over 30 years, and when I moved, I was afraid to go to someone new. I'm so glad I did! She'll work with you and give you ideas and options. She has only cut my hair twice now, and added highlights this last time. I'm very picky and I'm also extremely satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend that you give her a try!

Jennifer provided the best hair appointment experience of my life! From the beautifully curated location to the meticulous care and detail in the haircut, everything was exceptional. During the appointment, I felt heard and seen, leaving with a hairstyle that perfectly fits my lifestyle and makes me feel beautiful. An extra bonus was gazing at the ocean while having my hair done!
