Taylor is the absolute best! My daughter got her hair done here for the first time with Taylor and she’s amazing. After my daughter doing some research because she wasn’t happy with her normal spot in Portland. Taylor’s professionalism in dealing with my daughter, hearing her requests, concerns and so forth was too notch. And she knocked it out of the park. My daughter says she’s the best she’s ever had. Prices were affordable and I was super impressed all the way around. Would give 1,000 stars if I could. Thanks Taylor.

Corey Damico is a true professional and an incredible hairdresser! I first experienced her talent when she expertly crafted an asymmetrical bob for me back in 2017. After moving back to Oregon in 2025, Corey has been correcting the mistakes left by other stylists since then. What I appreciate most about Corey is her honesty. She’ll tell you if your hair vision isn’t feasible and offers fantastic alternatives. She’s also an outstanding colorist—she did my hair color right before my wedding, and I couldn’t have trusted anyone else for such an important day. Corey uses the best products and knows how to make them work with my hair type. If you want someone who is skilled, honest, and genuinely cares about her clients, Corey is your go-to stylist!

Lynne Smith is technically the best technician that has worked on my hair. She has been my hair person for ~9 years. After decades of color and highlights (which she does beautifully) I decided to move to my natural color. Lynne is a master at blending. There was absolutely no unfortunate grow out. For deciding on such a change, I was expecting at least a little misery. NONE! Thank you, Lynne. You are the best.

I absolutely must share my wonderful experience with Micha. She is so kind and caring and goes above and beyond to care for your every need. I have never had a haircut where I felt more cared for then in the hands of this woman. I felt like I was simply a block of marble and this artist was working to chip away to sculpt me into the version of myself I was meant to be. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone who wants a new and build beginning to their lives.

I've been back and forth on writing this review, but I feel like I should warn others. I've been to this salon about 3 times now and it's never been the best experience. The stylist I'm talking about is Silvia. The first time I came here, it took like 10 minutes for someone to check me in (I had a scheduled appointment) and they asked me to come back later because my stylist had something come up, and then when I came back, she arrived late. The haircut was cute and the stylist was fun to talk to so I booked with her a second time. The second time I booked with her, she was late again, was rough when she wanted me to move my head, and answered the phone in the middle of cutting my hair. I was iffy on my haircut, but liked her enough to try her one more time. The third time I had with her will be my last. My wedding is coming up and I needed to touch up my layers and get rid of some of the thickness. I was nervous about trying someone new before the wedding and figured since she was the one who cut it, she would be able to adjust it easily. I was trying to emphasize that I wanted to keep as close to the length I was at, but I felt really rushed during the consultation. To be fair, I didn't bring pictures, but I wanted to trust she knew what would look good. My mistake. The haircut took almost two hours and is probably the worst haircut I have ever gotten. One side of my hair was uneven, the layers looked messy, she didn't cut my thick fringe, and the shape of the haircut didn't flow well. To top it off, she said it was lighter, but when I looked at it the next day, it looked even thicker on top. It was really bad. I had to remind her I wanted my bangs trimmed when she asked for payment. She also kept making "jokes" about my fiancé talking to other women. He had an appointment and was chatting with a couple stylists about the wedding and getting a beard trim consultation and she kept joking I should keep an eye on him and even turned me towards him at one point. It was really inappropriate and unprofessional. I found another salon farther from home, but they fixed my bad haircut and treated me way better than any of the times I came here. I definitely won't be coming back to Twyst salon.

Mindy at Twyst Salon is absolutely fantastic! I have pretty thick hair and I can't say enough about how patient, thorough and meticulous she is with her cuts and color. I am always happy with the result and I highly recommend her work!! Twyst itself is a beautiful salon with a warm atmosphere that is always clean and well kept.

I have been going to Noel at Twyst for many years. She is amazing at keeping my blonde highlights looking good! All of the stylists are very professional and the salon is very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!
