Emily Mazour Hairapy

I've been going to Emily for a little over a year now. I found her when I moved to Portland last year. I specifically looked for a stylist with a lot of experience doing high fashion colors and cuts, and when I found her online I really liked her previous works. I booked a cut and color and have been going back ever since! She always does an amazing job with my and gets just as excited about doing the fun cuts and colors as I get about having them! She has also been great about maintaining the health and integrity of my hair while bleaching and dying it, which I greatly appreciate! I honestly can't imagine getting my hair done by anyone else and highly recommend Emily!

Emily was very welcoming and personable from the moment I entered the salon. She was open to my ideas and we started conservative before doing anything drastic. I’m usually nervous having a stylist cut my curls, but Emily truly knows what she is doing. I love my cut and loved all the process she put in to bring my curls to its fullest potential. I recommend her to any of my curly sisters out there still in search of a curly stylist.

This was my first time seeing Emily and I immediately booked my next appointment with her after my cut & color. I really appreciated the time she took to understand what I was hoping to achieve, looking at pictures, and then getting creative with shaping a style that felt custom made for me. I wanted to try some subtle highlights and her placement of the color and how it sits within my curls looks so natural and achieved exactly what I was hoping for. Not to mention, she’s a super cool person and fun to chat with! Highly recommend!

I almost don’t want to write this and give up my best-kept secret, but Emily deserves it. I met Emily about 2 years ago after moving to Portland from NYC. I cannot understate that Emily is hands-down the BEST stylist I have seen out of all my experiences in Portland and NYC. Not only is she an awesome colorist and stylist, but I just love spending time with her and chatting! You will not be disappointed!! My hair has never been healthier!

Emily Mazour is a brilliant hair stylist and high fashion color master! After moving to Portland from Seattle it was difficult to find a hairstylist that could do edgy interesting haircuts and blending different colors, but I was lucky to find Emily! Emily is a fantastic hairstylist- she completely understood what I wanted and gave me gorgeous, healthy, lively layers for a very reasonable price. She’s also kind, and fun to chat with! Highly recommend her services. Her new location feels very covid safe, as well: we both wore our masks the whole appointment, I was the only client there, and she took care to sanitize surfaces after we used them. I’ll be back for sure!
