Chanel is very nice and friendly. She always does an amazing job and gives you good advice on how to properly care for your natural hair. She also excellent with kids. My 10 year daughter who usually complains when she gets her hair done didn't complain once! I'd been searching for a hairstylist that specializes in natural hair close to home. I'm so glad we found her!

Overall the place was nice, clean and the hairstylist was very professional. My first time ever going to this salon, the owner was asking me questions about my hair type and the certain hair goals I wanted to reach. But I felt like we wasn’t getting anywhere and she would tell me you shouldn’t put product in your hair, and she wasn’t really educating me on what to put in my hair or anything. I went to her like three or four times and every time I would show up, she would act like she didn’t won’t to do my hair. I had got two french braids before and she act like it was too much to do, when it was a simple hairstyle. Then she charge too much for a simple hairstyle and I just quit going to this place. I didn’t really feel welcome at all and she would tell you what not to put in your hair, but she couldn’t tell you what to put in your hair. I was confused smh. I been to better hair salons than this one and this one was just not for me. Like if you don’t won’t to do certain people’s hair, then what are you a hairstylist or just be honest with them. She just didn’t educate me on hair type at all. I wish this salon the best though!

Great shop great service!! Took my daughter there a few days ago before school started and Ms Arline did a great job on her hair and recommending styles and products to use as my daughter transitions into a more natural style. Just an amazing experience!! Definitely will be bring my daughters back in the future.

I have been using this stylist for over 19 years and she always does a wonderful job on my hair, my daughters hair and grand-daughters hair. She can style all ages and she keeps up with the new styles as well. Her hands are a gift from God and he has blessed her to do miracles with your natural hair..she is an excellent stylist. You would be very please with her work. FYI she will always be honest with you concerning your hair!

She was super nice and sweet. Really helpful for an upcoming wedding. Being new to Baytown it was very hard finding a salon that caters to black women hair and doesn’t cost an arm and leg. Highly recommend shamilla ❤️

I just got some starter locs done yesterday. Best place in Baytown. Shamila is very educated on hair types and will help you understand your hair and what’s best for it. I HIGHLY recommend.

I called for an appointment due to covid situations, told me she would call me back and never herd back. I really wanted my hair done by someone other than myself.
