I cannot say enough amazing things about Krista! She is truly the best. Not only is she incredibly personable and professional, but she genuinely listens and takes time to understand exactly what I’m envisioning every single visit. Her attention to detail is unmatched — nothing ever feels rushed or overlooked. As someone who has always struggled with thin, delicate hair, finding a stylist who understands both my concerns and my goals has been amazing. She prioritizes the health of my hair while still helping me achieve the look I want. She’s a gem!
I brought my hair extensions, which I’ve been using with the same color for three years, so they could see the exact color I wanted. A few months ago I came in and my hair turned green, and during that time I couldn’t use my extensions. I decided to give them another chance, hoping they would be more familiar with my hair, but the result was even worse. I paid a little over $200, left the salon in tears, and now I’m left with hair that looks terrible and almost ruined. The most frustrating part is that after such a disappointing experience, they still had the audacity to ask for a tip. If a salon fails you once, do not give them a second chance.
Who on earth pays $530 for half a head of highlights and still walks out looking like this? Well, me – thanks to this rip-off of a salon. First visit: $300. Second visit: $230. And for what? The back of my head is still completely black, no color, no highlights – nothing. My hair is fried, burned, and feels like straw. The stylist, Sara, clearly has no skill, no attention to detail, and no concern for the damage she’s doing. She literally charged luxury prices for sloppy, uneven, half-done work. My hair now looks like it was done by someone who’s never seen a proper highlighting job in their life. This place is a scam – all they care about is overcharging and rushing you out the door. I now have to spend more money to repair the damage they caused. If you value your hair, your wallet, or your sanity, DO NOT step foot in this salon.
10/10 job done by Krista! Have never had a better cut in my life. I thought it would be difficult to find a new stylist when moving to a new city but am please so far. Have gone to her three times already and each cut is better than previous. Highly recommend!
The energy and look of the salon was great. However, I was shocked and disappointed at checkout. I am new to the area and that was mentioned in the chair. I booked a base new growth for $77. As I was in the chair the stylist mentioned "root to ends", after looking it up I didn’t know that was going to cost me extra. Instead of base new growth I was charged for base pull through at $96 along with an additional $30 for "plus 30 grams". The stylist mentioned a hair cut as well, I agreed to a trim. What I do not agree with was less than 1" of hair cut and considered a "hair cut" for $67 and no styling afterwards. I was expecting to leave with a bill of $110-125 after a tip, not $193 before a tip. The stylist did a great job on the color, but poor execution of what the price was for were provided at services as well as checkout because I’m sure my face gave away my shock.
My teen had a cut by Krista, and she completely butchered his hair, thinning it so much with thining sheers, even after he asked her not to, that he has spots where you can see his scalp. This is a kid with super thick hair, and now he looks like he's balding. I have four boys, and we've had some bad haircuts, but this one is the worse I've ever seen. I'm sitting right now in a SportsClips watching a stylist very carefully and thoughtfully correct the mess Soho made. The stylists here crowded around my kid in disbelief, shocked by what Krista did with the thinning sheers. They're concerned that the ends will break off due to the damage as it grows, so we have to come back in a few weeks to monitor it. Complete disappointment.
This place was a God send this morning. I called for my daughter around 8:30 and they were able to get us in right away. Gabby, our stylist, went above and beyond to make sure my princess (7 years old) felt so special. She held a conversation the entire time with her and made her feel so comfortable! She even curled her hair and pinned it back for her to take pictures in. Also, her final touch of putting a tad bit of makeup on her completely sealed the deal! I can not say enough about Gabby! We are not from Baton Rouge but I can promise you, if we were, Gabby would be my new stylist. Oh and the receptionist and everyone else in the salon was so sweet and welcoming!
