*Do not book here if you are looking for Windy Hair Salon Original* I booked a Digital Perm online that says starting at $200. Big mistake! I waited over 40 minutes, then was told the price would be a whopping $690(!!) due to my hair length—even though we agreed she’d trim it to just below my chest. That’s over 3x the listed price, which felt misleading and dishonest. I told her I couldn’t proceed at that price, and she said I’d still be charged $100 fee. We compromised on a $250 cold perm. I having been getting perms for years (both digital and cold) and have had multiple cold perms before without issue. I asked for volume, especially at the top, and was flexible on curl type as long as it wasn’t super tight. The result? My hair looks the same, if not even straighter. There’s a clear line between my natural straight hair and old perm, no volume, and even the "tighter curls" underneath are straight. After over a year of caring for my hair, it’s now dry, frizzy, and damaged with less curl/wave than I had before. Whether it was a Digital Perm or Cold Perm the results should have still been curly. As per the description on her website, a Cold Perm should have resulted in even *curlier* hair than a Digital Perm. To top it off, she denied anything went wrong and insisted I got what I asked for. The pictures and everyone I know say otherwise. Mistakes happen—but refusing to acknowledge them is unacceptable. Pictures were taken a few hours after the appointment. Disappointment is an understatement!

Heeja did a fantastic job with my perm. I wanted a soft curl and it turned out exactly as I requested. "Perm" normally makes me think of bad 80s curls but Heeja’s perm was nothing like that. The result is a lovely curl with a very natural look

The service was on the pricier end but the results were amazing! Thank you!

Hands down the best hair salon I’ve to been to in Austin (I get the men’s haircut). Heja is super understanding, takes time to listen and does a fantastic job. She gives really great recommendations and tips on how to style. Would recommend. 10/10.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Have been to Heeja twice and both times I have been very happy with my new color and cut. She’s very professional and really takes the time to make sure she understands what I really want. Offers great advice about what works best for me. Will definitely be using her again in the future. So happy with my results. 😊

I went in to get a men’s perm from Heeja and she did an amazing job!! I’ve been to a lot of salons and this one is by far the best one I’ve been to. Additionally, the perm solution most salons use irritate my scalp and leave a burning sensation but I have had no problems with irritation since my perm. I will absolutely be returning to Windy Salon for perms and can’t recommend this place enough. Truly the best of the best!
