Vain Salon ATX

a woman who worked here left such a bad taste in my mouth. I just moved in this area I’m a black woman and I was so happy to see a salon near my house I wanted to check it out see if their services would suit me. My cousin came with me and as we’re approaching the door a woman steps out asking us what we’re doing there we tell her we’re just seeing what they have to offer and she completely dismisses us saying bye to us. It felt very discriminatory . If your a person of color or maybe it’s just black people I don’t recommend coming here even if the services were good nobody wants to be mistreated when all they want is to leave with a nice hair style. I didn’t get the name of the woman but she was quite tall and plus size for any management wondering.

I’ve been seeing Natalie since 2021 and she has changed the game for me! My hair has never felt or looked better. I’m on the journey of growing it out and it has been so incredibly healing and fun to have Natalie with me by my side. Today we revamped my hair color and got a pretty girl blowout 🙂

I saw Veronica at Vain for lashes today! This was my first time getting lashes done and Veronica did an amazing job giving me a beautiful, natural set. You have to see Veronica at Vain in east Austin for all of your lash extension, lash lift and tint needs! Especially if you love wispy lashes, Veronica is the expert!

I started seeing Emily at Vain after I dyed my hair "pandemic purple" in 2020 and am so thankful for her amazing skills. Vain is stuck with me because I won’t go anywhere else. Emily is the sweetest human being and I trust her with more than my hair color. Can’t say this enough - Vain is the Best!

Olivia is the best! So happy with her transformation of my hair and overall experience at Vain. Olivia listened to all of my ideas, concerns, and did a great job putting my mind at ease during such a big change. She truly listened to every single thing I wanted and brought my vision to life. She not only did an amazing job on my color but also my haircut. The conversations were also so fun and helped the time pass. 😊 Highly recommend!! She slays all things hair. ✨

BOOK WITH OLIVIA !! I know everyone else is great too because I’ve seen their clients hair look extremely fantastic. But I have booked with Olivia twice now and both times the results just get better. First time was a full head of foils, wonderful highlights that are growing out so well. second was a huge chop. I went for a bob for the first time and she made me look like a 90s dream. I feel like the main character and it’s really boosting my confidence. She’s also very very sweet. I highly recommend this place and the prices are super reasonable.

I love going to Vain, I’ll be a customer for life! It’s so cute and cozy inside, I immediately feel relaxed and excited to get my hair done. Everyone that works here is so nice, they always have snacks and drinks, it’s always a good vibe. Emily is the best hair stylist in the world, she always makes me so comfortable, I love chatting with her, and she never even blinks when I’m a little unsure of what to do with my hair she just takes the lead and somehow always knows exactly what will suit me best. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
