I was really nervous at first, but I had an amazing experience, thanks to Emma. I had full hair color + hair cut. Before my appointment, she personally texted me to ensure that she can plan ahead to offer the best during the time of my appointment (what styling, color, length, etc.) She is very, very, and I mean VERY meticulous to the point that she does not miss anything. She is also very soft with her touch and cares about the health of your hair and scalp. She was able to exactly pinpoint out what hair color I wanted with consideration of my natural hair color too! She thoroughly matches everything with your face shape as well as your skin tone. I personally had a much better experience here than how I had my hair and color treated back in Korea. One thing I cannot thank her enough is that she's also given me a small complimentary keratin treatment to ensure my hair is smooth and healthy. Also, she is reaaaallyyy realllllyy pretty. I honestly first chose her because she looked really pretty lol, but she's even prettier in real life omg. I would hands down go to her again and recommend her to everyone. Please see Emma if you want a personal hair color analyst and stylist. 10/10.
I’m always nervous going to a new salon since not everyone is great with my hair texture. But I had a really great experience with Gina for a cut and shampoo! She was gentle and very meticulous. She cut and styled my hair the exact way I wanted (long curtain bang with layers). Highly recommend!
I went to Soha for the first time and made my appointment with Mikki (the owner) and I fell in love with the result… Mikki left my hair the way I wanted it and I didn’t even explain too much to him but he knew it already. I went to him because the person who cut my hair before had left it uneven and it looked dry. ( also it was 75$ for the haircut) and here was 45$ + tips I've never seen the technique Mikki used to cut my hair before. The way he used the scissors is very professional and unique. Highly recommend this place 100/10 My hair now looks fantastic🫶🏼
If I could give zero stars, I would. Chloe's approach to men's haircuts was extremely disappointing. I asked for a simple faux hawk style—short on the sides and longer on top—but she relied entirely on clippers, going around the head in uniform circles with no proper blending or layering. The result looked choppy and unnatural, with clear lines where the hair should have transitioned smoothly. I specifically mentioned my head shape is slightly asymmetrical and asked for adjustments to make both sides look more balanced. Instead of helping, she just said, "That’s how your head is," which shows a lack of skill and unwillingness to adapt. A basic technique like adjusting lengths to create visual balance was completely missing. She also had a rather dismissive attitude, using hairdressing terms in a way that felt more condescending than helpful. Most customers aren’t professionals—we just want a clean, thoughtful haircut. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience left me genuinely upset. I couldn’t even smile after the cut and had no idea how to deal with the result. Hair will grow back, but I wouldn’t recommend Chloe to any man looking for a proper haircut. You can refer to the diagram I provided for a clearer idea of what the result looked like. Just to clarify—this review only reflects my experience with Chloe. There may be other stylists here with better skills.
I came here because I had a decent experience before for a bang cut and also heard good things about Miki from friends. Unfortunately, this time was a completely different experience. The haircut I received was very uneven — some sections are significantly longer than others, and the layers are poorly blended with abrupt, harsh transitions. It’s not a matter of personal preference; this is a basic technical issue that shouldn’t happen with a professional stylist.
I went in for a Japanese hair straightening. This was my 2nd time here at Soha and Chloe H was did such a wonderful job. She is such a sweetheart and patient, and kept me entertained throughout the process. She has great attention to detail. So happy with my silky smooth hair now. Definitely returning for the 3rd time and again and again
I am left speechless, time and time again, at the mastery and consistent quality of Soha Salon, particularly Emma Kim. The staff has such a dedicated to artistry and perfection, once they determine the vision of the client they execute in complete precision. Wow!! I've been dying my hair (the most difficult shade of blonde to acheive) for 8 years and have finally found the salon that has left my hair and follicles in nice health and been done at such a high aesthetic level. Thank you Soha!!!
