Iris/ Crystal was very unprofessional. I went to get a Brazilian blowout. Ton of formaldehyde applied and my hair was damaged. For my hair cut prior, even though I only asked for layers with face framing layers in the front, she ended up texturizing it. That also damaged the shafts. I will not recommend this place at all. Not worth the commute for me either.I went because it was recommended. The lady who recommended also eventually had a bad experience.

Super cute little place with quality people and quality service. Crystal got me in there on a last minute appointment and I couldn’t be more appreciative 🙂 loved talking to you

Crystal has been doing my hair for over 5 years!Everything from a routine trim to A Pixi cut. I've had many color service done as well from solid hair color, highlights and ombré! They all have came out amazing. I am always so happy with the outcome! She gets the job done and she does it well! It also doesn't hurt that she has a fun personality! Thank you crystal for always making my hair look and feel beautiful!

Crystal with Iris Salon has been my go-to hair stylist for over 15 years, and was absolutely wonderful recently in doing my hair and make-up for my wedding! She made everything incredibly easy from our practice session through the day of and truly ensured my vision was beautifully and classically done.

I loved Crystal! I read some of the reviews and was really nervous but I had a great experience and I’m a groupon user. You have to call her before you pay for your Groupon to make sure your scheduling and hair works for the treatment. Crystal knows hair and is up front with no BS about the treatments. I was incredibly impresssd, I’ve been getting hair treatments for maybe 10 years now and she did an excellent job and was realistic about the effect the treatment would have on my hair. I also prefer not to chit chat and like to read my book and she was super respectful of that. I loved her. If you want someone who really knows hair and hair treatment, go here! I’m only bummed I just found her because I’m about to move cities. Probably the best experience I’ve had with the Japanese hair straightening ever!

I've been going since 2015 on & off. I get the permanent chemical Japanese straightening & love it. Last for 8mo. Then every birthday I get a email coupon for a discount & try to do it if I can swing it then. Iris is very nice & gets the job done!!

Crystal was nice and the salon is pretty affordable compared to the few other places providing these services in Austin but the results is not right at all. I had done perm twice in the past and it did not turn out like that, my natural curls looked way better beforehand. Now i’m stuck with a huge mass of frizzy waves (vs actual curls/waves I had) for months so i’m pretty upset & disappointed. Additionally, the website states that every chemical service includes a deep conditioning treatment, it was not the case.
