I'm not much for reviews but I've been with Phyllis for 3 years and hands down she is the best barber I have ever had. She offers great quality service, and wholesome connections. Always caring and understanding and will give you the look that you will without a doubt love. She remembers her clients and what they talked about (if you prefer talking) and will pick up where you left off even if you come back over a month later. If anything at all, I know you will not regret stopping by and giving her a visit.

Before I met Phyllis, I used to procrastinate getting a haircut as barbers usually cut my hair way too short. I'm amazed at how Phyllis manages to get the length and shape right each time I go there. Phyllis has about 30 years of experience and I completely trust her with my hair. Phyllis also has an amazing memory and remembered me despite having only visited once before. She also brought up conversational threads from our previous meeting, which is astounding considering the number of customers she sees every day. She also gives great advice and is very warm and friendly.

Phyllis is a great barber! Every time I've come in I've had a great cut and Phyllis always remembers the perfect way to cut my hair! 5 stars all the way. Its great because you can do walk ins, there's no need for an appointment, and it's always fast and great.

Phyllis has been cutting my hair for 16 years. She takes an interest in her clients and you feel cared for here. She gives me a consistently good-looking cut every time. One nice feature of the property is that it has sinks so she can rinse out your cut hair before going back to the office (no more shedding).

Phyllis asks you the right questions to get to know your hair and how you like it and gives a great cut. She will analyze how your hair grows, the direction of growth, how you style it, etc. to make sure you get a cut that suits your face. Decent price. Tips: Additional parking in the back, free drinks available while you wait, and call or check her website before going to make sure she isn’t on vacation.

Having experienced the full range of haircut experiences from salons to national brand barbers, my opinion is that Phyllis Nuñez has given the best of any of those past haircuts. Frankly, the consistency of the haircut is fantastic. One of the best experiences when coming in for a haircut, is knowing that you'll wake up tomorrow and your hair will still look as great as when you left the chair the day before. Overall, she gives one of the most consistent and well-executed haircuts I've ever received. Would recommend to anyone.

Best men’s cut in Austin! I always hated getting my haircut before moving here... then I found Phyllis. She’s been cutting men’s hair for over 30 years! She’s super chill and that experience gives her a really good eye for what’s gonna look good on a man. Average prices for Austin, definitely worth the money. Go check her out!
