Updating my review to reflect the salon overall experience. The staff and manager were professional and responsive when I shared concerns about my haircut. They worked with me to have my regular stylist fix it, and I was not charged for the correction, which I genuinely appreciated. This review and photos attached is still specific to my initial service with Hannah W. While she was friendly, the haircut did not work for my hair type. I have Asian hair and requested curtain bangs and face-framing layers. The result was uneven with blunt sections and difficult to style, despite this being a cut I’ve successfully had many times before. I chose not to return to the same stylist for the fix. Overall, I appreciate how the salon handled the situation and made it right. I would recommend being very specific about stylist experience with different hair textures when booking.

It was my first time getting my hair cut at CNN. Hannah was extremely professional. I had prepared a reference image for her and she gave me recommendations on how she would make adjustments to make the hairstyle better fit my face shape and hair quality. She was very detail-oriented throughout the entire process and took her time with my hair. At the end she even took the time to teach me how to properly care for and style my hair to give it the desired effect from my reference image. I highly recommend Hannah!

I saw Eugene and he did a super awesome job with the Japanese magic straight perm. I love the results. But just beware he’s very rough, I felt like I was being scalped for a lot of the service, especially during the hair washes. I feel like a lot of my hair was unnecessarily pulled out due to washing and brushing roughness. Especially when brushing out wet hair, it should be from bottom to top, to at the very least, make it more less painful and damaging for the client. He also would wrap my hair in the towel after washing so tightly, that I could actually hear hairs being pulled out from my head. Other than that it was great!

Best haircut experience I have ever had. Eugene’s skills are exceptional - he pays attention to every single detail to give you exactly what you want. Will definitely be coming back in the future 👏

It was my first time getting a haircut here. The hairstylist didn’t speak any English at all, and even what kind of haircut I wanted had to be translated into Korean by the receptionist. One side of my hair was cut longer than the other. The shaved area in the back felt rough to the touch, with obvious stubble. After finishing, they just quickly blew my hair dry very casually and didn’t do any styling at all.

I used to really love this place and often recommended it to my friends. I was always happy with the service before, but this time the experience was confusing and disappointing. I had a confirmed appointment for a men’s haircut at 3:45 pm and even received a confirmation message. Well later, I got a call from the salon saying my appointment was actually at 1:40 pm, which I had already missed and I explained that I could come by 2:00 pm (it’s a 20-minute drive), but unfortunately they were already fully booked and I couldn’t get my haircut. It was the only day I had available and so I left without being able to get the service I really needed. I understand that misunderstandings can happen, but this situation was very disappointing.

I got my hair done two times here and they did a great job I appreciate your guys service. I will always come here
