I had my hair dyed by Latee at Van Michael Salon in Sandy Springs and she really did her thing. I came in nervous about color because not everybody knows how to dye hair without frying it but she listened to what I wanted and explained everything before touching my head. The color came out exactly how I pictured it and my hair still feels healthy and soft. She got good energy and makes you feel comfortable in the chair instead of rushed. If you want your hair dyed the right way and not played with ask for Latee. She knows what she is doing and it shows. Definitely coming back.

Go see Frida. She worked magic on my grey - textured hair. It was amazing how she was able to cut and texture and style my hair. I left feeling so great and so positive that my hair will recover and be more healthy again. The salon’s staff was friendly and helpful and it felt like everyone was enjoying themselves. Good times - treat yourself!

Kenny is an exceptional talent. I can hardly believe how amazing my hair looks every time I sit in his chair; it’s like magic! The way he transforms my hair nothing short of fantastic!

Latee is the worst. She did my highlights numerous times trying to get the right dimension and instead, damaged my hair so I had to cut most of the length off. She talks negatively about everyone in the salon and VM in general. Why would anyone want to get their hair done by someone who says she hates her job? Ugh, go elsewhere and spare yourself her bad service and negativity.

I cannot give Kenneth enough stars. He was so great with my 14 year old daughter and he was able to cut and style her hair EXACTLY how she wanted it. He is professional yet personable, kind and engaging, knowledgeable and extremely talented. 14-year-old girls can be hard to please, but she walked out of there beaming, and she has not shut up about how much she enjoyed him since!
