Sarah and Mimi are super friendly and creative people they treat you like family. They always make sure you are happy with your hair , they inform you about hair and products very well . I have been back a couple times since they were on ponce and it has been consistently amazing. Great color and cuts ! Also cutest pug in the world is there to keep you company as you drink coffee and get your hair done!

My daughter and I got our hair done by Mimi today and we both love the way we look! Great communication and Mimi is very talented!

This has been my favorite salon since moving into the neighborhood 6 years ago and my #1 recommendation to others. I had my first big cut and color done here and it was a wonderful experience. Mimi's dedication to her craft is admirable and anyone apprenticing under her is in for some great learning and mentorship. I've been going to Shear Love for 5 years now, and Mimi always makes my hair game on point! She is very meticulous and perfects your cut and color before you can leave. I have the darkest black Asian hair that ever Asian'ed, and of course, I love coloring my hair different bright and pastel colors. Mimi makes sure my hair is protected and not over processed, so that I can keep changing my hair color without damaging it. One of the most often compliments I get other than color is how shiny and soft my hair is, even though it's been colored many times. The salon also uses Davines products, which are really great, and they are an eco-friendly and green salon that recycles! I love that I was lucky enough to find a salon that I love going to every time : )

The hardest part about moving to a new city is finding your new hair person. Fortunately, Kailey does the highlights of an adorable girl with whom I work. Thank goodness I found Kailey! She introduced me to the beauty of "balayage" for my blonde highlights in lieu of the damaging foils I had grown so fondly of. Man, does that painting technique take precision, experience, skill, and comfort. I have gotten so many compliments on my gorgeous color and hair cut. Additionally, the top-notch experience features an environment that was so relaxing and fun that I can't wait to go back. Thank you Kailey for giving Victoria's Secret model hair. I'm in love.

I wish I could receive an actual experience. I wanted to get a hair cut where I could donate my hair. My hair length is past my waistline. I called several times with no answer. Then, I spent 2 and a half hours trying to find this place. Guess what? They moved! I went to the Forest place location which was a bunch of abandoned factories. I picked out and found a shop that was opened and the person said they moved. Under there website, it's it's listed as 105 Ralph McGill anyways. Went there... Not there. I then googled the old phone factory and went there. The building was secure building that was locked. The directory kiosk outside allowed me to pull up the salons name and there was only an option to call or text. I did both... No answer. I walked all the way around to the other side of the building. Again. A securely locked door with a kiosk. So I called again... Answering service picks up each time, just like a regular phone call. I called one last time and a last FINALLY answered. She asked if I had an appointment. I explained that I couldn't make one since no one answers the phone. She said she was booked at a wedding and NO ONE was there! I was too ticked off... Not at all professional. Needless to say, I will not be donating there or using their services.

This salon is very nice, welcoming, and fits well in the community. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable about what they are doing as well as their particular specialty. My goal was color and getting color done right. They far exceeded my expectations and I gladly recommend them for the most professional color job. The only reason why I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because I used a Livingsocial deal and there were extra costs I was not aware of until the end; which was an expected surprise. As a consumer, make sure you know the cost up front and not get surprised in the end. Again, EVERYONE in the salon is a gem and I thank them for welcoming us to the salon. They are eco-responsible by using "green" products, the salon is clean, and they support the community of other small businesses. Please support this business, you won't be disappointed.
