I have been going to Mathilda for roughly 5 or 6 years now for her wax services. I have always left satisfied after my sessions! I have tried other waxing services in the area but skinSPArations has been my favorite because the price is reasonable and the service is thorough and phenomenal. She cares about her clients and is highly knowledgeable about all her services such as waxing, facials, eyelash extensions and more! I trust her and will continue to come back again and again.

I recently went to Mathilda and was initially hesitant because of how sensitive my skin is. But from the very beginning, she was incredibly clear and thorough—walking me through every product, explaining what would work best for my skin and why. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the time and care she took to do that! My skin has never felt (or looked) this good in my entire life—it honestly glows! ✨ I’ve even gotten compliments on it, which has never happened before. When one of the products in my new routine initially caused some sensitivity, Mathilda immediately explained why that might be and offered an alternative that worked beautifully. Just like that, everything felt better. The love and dedication she brings to her work is truly what sets her apart. ❤️ I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go to her, and I absolutely can’t wait for my next appointment!

I’ve been going to Mathilda for about 5 years now and all I have to say is good things about her services. Every appointment is she is very quick but efficient. Always has a clean studio, excellent conversations and laughs! I’ve never had a bad service from her/bad experience, plus the wax she uses never irritates my skin. She always try's to accommodate to her clients skin the best she can. Her prices are very fair for the services she provides, I always recommend her to people. I know some of my friends/coworkers do go see her and have always had good things to say. 100% you should have a service done by Mathilda!

There was okay , she is nice . But She offered to sell me a product to take care of my skin. But I felt worse in 2 to 3 weeks l get a lot of acne and had to go to a dermatologist because my face developed a type of fungal acne. All my face is like the picture .

My recent visit w/Mathilda for a Brazilian was top notch!! She was extremely knowledgeable & thorough and has a gentle touch. She even introduced using sugar on me to help w/more stubborn "lighter" hairs which I appreciated. My next visit will definitely include a facial too because she impressed me w/her expertise since I was complaining about my aging skin!! Highly recommend her 😀

I've visited Mathilda twice now for facial/skin-related services, and have had a fantastic experience across the board. It's clear she takes a great deal of pride in her craft and really knows her stuff. In the past, my facials seem to have been more focused on relaxation, complete with darkened rooms (how does the clinician see what they're working with?!?!?), new age music and aromatherapy wafting throughout. Rather, a visit to skinSPArations is much more clinical in its approach to needs analysis and treatment planning. It's results oriented, which I love. I was quite surprised and impressed by the detailed nature of her intake form. It's much more extensive than others which in my view, demonstrated level of concern for me as a client. The intake process also helped to set my expectations and brought relevant risks to my attention. Mathilda revisited those expectations and risks once again during my sessions, which gave me a chance to ask questions (much appreciated). After sharing my skin concerns with her, Mathilda developed a treatment approach that has made a noticeable difference in my skin tone and texture. While it looks great right after services, my skin is even better on day 2 or 3 following a visit. And, I love the products she recommended for me. The milk cleanser is fantastic... not too heavy/oily, not too "soapy", and the smell is amazing. The eye cream (gold with metal applicator) does the job for me; dark circles are less noticeable, improved texture under the eye and on the lid... I was struggling with some peeling, etc., in that area, all of which resolved over the course a week or so with the new products on board. I've added Mathilda to my regimen and will be seeing her every 5 weeks for continuing services. And, I've referred a number of friends and family members too, which says a great deal about the quality of my experience and the confidence I have in her practice.
