If you are looking for a Korean style haircut, this is the place to go. I've been going here for close two years now and never left dissatisfied. All the staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. Above all the quality of the haircut service provided is top quality. Highly recommended.

I haven’t been here in a few years due to being abroad, but I came for a haircut and dye after growing it out for a long time and I’m happy that they still do such a good job. The owner, Shanel, and the rest of the staff are so welcoming and sweet, I’m always treated well. 정말 감사합니다. 다음에 봐요~~~

THE ONLY REASON IT GETS ONE STAR IS BECAUSE IT MADE ME… typical saying, but this place should not be rated 4. ANYTHING! I had done research on a Korean digital perm. Absolutely loved every outcome. Knowing that each person would create a different look. Looked up Korean perm and this salon came up. 3 hours away from me. That was fine, because it was want I wanted. Made the appointment. Still researching this perm. Now I called back to the salon a week before my appointment. To make sure I didn’t have to get layers to get this perm. She says no! Great!!! Today I’m excited for my appointment! Drive 3 hours. Left at 7am! Now I curled my hair to show her kinda what I wanted. The first lady didn’t get it, or maybe couldn’t do it. So she calls this other girl. She plays with my hair. Says oh yeah this is what you will get. I ask again do you need to cut layers. She says NO! Now I sit down, she starts it’s not like my research, but I’m thinking maybe, trust the process. It is not good. I have waves on the top of my head. On a Korean perm that should be wavy on the bottom. On the bottom my hair is still straight!! Now at this Point she is twisting my hair trying to get waves. She puts oil, and has tangled my hair trying to make me see a wave! At this point my hair is tangled and damp. She telling me it’s more curly then when I came in!!! This place is not a place to go to show them a picture!

I love Shanel hair salon. This is a new hair of my girl. She really wanted to do some highlights on her hair but her dad does not wanted too bright color. The hair looks so natural and the color came out great. I never regretted coming here to get my hair done from this place as well. They always know the answer even though I want some makeover but not exactly sure what to do. I really recommend Shanel to everyone who seek some quite gentle place and most importantly, with professional skills. Many places they don't know what they're doing...

Ms Soon is the artist not typical hairdresser. I came to visit my son in Va and she was highly recommended to me. I was very pleased with the style so next time I came specifically from Florida to her to do my hair. I heard so many compliments after. This year I’m flying to DC and plan to make an appointment to her as well. Such a treasure.
