Overpriced, rushed, uneven, poor communication, and no concern for how you look afterwards. I had first started going to Julias hair salon looking for the digital per; she’s the only one in town that offers this service, and first appointment was great and took about 2 hours. I had gone for a consultation and it was around closing and she offered to do it and I accepted, but the price of the perm was not revealed to me until the end of the appointment. It was $400! I knew it would be expensive, but to not communicate just how expensive it would be until everything is done is a shady business practice and all payment is done through direct bank transfer which adds to the shadiness. Many months later I had gone in for another digital perm and she said "I will give you discount" for $380 because I wanted to keep my long hair, but she claimed my last perm was $480 even though it was only $400. That appointment barely lasted an hour, half the time of the original appointment so she demanded basically the same price for half the work she did the first time which I thought was strange, but I thought maybe I just caught her on an off day. Fast forward a couple months I go in for a haircut to have my long hair trimmed shorter than usual and I show her the picture of how I wanted it to look and even tried to show her the video of how the hair stylist in the video cut their hair. Julia did not even attempt to follow how the hair was cut in the video I tried to show her and stated "I have my own way you know" and then proceeded to chop off all my long hair which took 2 years to grow out. The haircut took less than 20 minutes! She then had the gaul to ask for $45! $45 for a 20min haircut is outrageous, it was the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten in my life, it was uneven, not blended, top wasn’t connected to the sides, my sideburns were terribly uneven and the cut around my ears were nothing to being symmetrical. The haircut was so bad I had to see another barber to fix what she had done and that barber looked at her work and told me "she messed you up I’m not gonna lie to you". If you value how you look I would avoid this place and I will not be returning. Below I provide the pictures of how I wanted my hair to look vs how she actually cut it, the evidence should speak for itself about her haircut abilities. The back is especially terrible.

Julia has done my hair twice now and each time has just been perfection!! She's reasonably price and quite flexible with her appointment and walk-in clients. If you want your hair done they way you want with friendly conversation go to Julia!!

She came to do my haircut even when I should’ve rescheduled due to online technical difficulties. Very friendly and she is quite skilled. Was done in less than an hr for chopping off medium length hair. Plus the shampooing was refreshing. Was close as much as it can to the photo I showed her . 👍🏻 $48 only 😎

Julia always does a great job. She went out of her way to accommodate my schedule. She's been cutting my hair for years and knows just how I like it.
