Do Or Dye Salon

I have found my new happy place! I was looking for a new salon and I have found it. Ember was AMAZING! She fit me in quickly, was very attuned to the style I wanted to try and she was so fun to chat with as she washed, cut and styled my hair! She made sure to show me how she achieved my style too, so I could do it on my own at home. I will definitely be visiting Do or Dye to have my hair done by Ember again for my future hair styling needs!

Tiffany is absolutely phenomenal!! She works wonders with my very dark brown hair making it blonde and making the regrowth look great too!! She did the hair for my wedding for myself and the bridesmaids. Everyone commented all night about how great my hair looked! I love having her as my stylist and won’t be going anywhere else!!

Tiffany Sikora is amazing! She did my daughters hair for prom and it was beautiful and lasted all night! So many compliments! She has also cut and highlighted for us and is spot on every time! 10 out if 10! Oh and she super kind and easy to talk to! You won’t be disappointed if you go with Tiffany!

A friend recommended the salon and it did not disappoint! Tiffany has been full of ideas. I give her a concept and she transforms it into something even better. My color has always been amazing and the first time that I've ever gotten compliments on my color! The cut is super realistic for my daily routine but she did a great job showing me how to style it for going out. The other ladies in the salon are also super friendly. Everyone is really chatty and open to sharing ideas. It's a super friendly and comfortable salon and I'm so glad I gave it a try!

I came upon this salon from a friend telling me about it, i booked with Jonnah, because ive been going to here for so long, so obviously i followed her to her new salon. the Salon vibe was so welcoming & located in my alumni city coincidentally. Jonnah is probably the best at keeping conversation & understanding how to read the room, i personally deal with social anxiety & easily overstimulated. Never ONCE have i ever felt unwelcomed or "too much" to sit in her chair, shes always taken the best care of my hair (thick curly dyed hair) PLUS shes amazing with kids (kids cuts) which is amazing for a single mom. i cant say enough good things about her as a stylist because you truly have to go see for yourself love her

$135+tip, 4 hours total in the chair and the completely wrong color highlights later, I don’t even know where to begin with the exhausting experience I had with Jonnah at Do or Dye this past Friday. I’m very rarely one to write reviews and this is not a reflection on the owner Julie, who I did interact with a little and she seems great, but this is how frustrated I am right now. I was very clear, repeatedly on the partial highlight color I wanted. Red. Not crazy bright, not too subtle, an auburn red. What I ended up with is somewhere between an orange and brown color. I explained the bleaching process was not necessary because who I had been going to for highlights for about 5 years had left, but she put the red right on top of my natural brown hair color. It always came out great without bleaching, and it’s not like we were going with a light color. Jonnah spent probably an hour and a half alone bleaching my hair, then it had to sit, then we still had color to do. I would have been fine with 4 hours of sitting there if I’d have walked out with anywhere close to the color I asked for. I even asked Jonnah for an example of the color she was using so I could see exactly what she was putting in, and I didn’t get that. ‘Just trust me,’ she said. It is nowhere near red and she could tell once she rinsed it out that this was a problem. There was no excitement whatsoever and I was so desperate to get out of there, I was like, forget it. So around $155 total (because I’m not a total jerk and I tipped her), and now I know why you go to the experienced stylist. I’d say ‘You get what you pay for’, but I paid a lot for partial highlights that were not even remotely a shade of red by a long shot. Quite frankly I don’t know what I paid for, other than a headache and a terrible dye job. I should have gone with Julie, but Jonnah told me to trust her and that I’d love her work. I can assure you, neither of us loved it. I’ve never walked out of a hair salon so upset before.
