Delicious food like always.the ladies behind the counter are nice and friendly.got the chili Verde,rice and mixed beans plate with some bolillo's,bomb!!there spicy shrimp with bell peppers is delicious too.

Pozole is good and many come here for Christmas Eve with their pots to fill. Lunch time you can usually have 1-4 people in front of you. It’s a little hidden gem. They rotate their menu by days and sometimes will have pozole twice a week. Everything so good and when they make burritos they’re huge!

Dirty. Poor selection of low quality items — nothing organic, for example. Meat and produce tend to be on the verge of spoiled. The slop from the prepared food section is just edible (e.g. tamales gummy, burned in spots, minimal filling), flavor drowned in spice, and way overpriced.

Today I came all the way from riverside to buy their meat. I've tried it at my family's for bbqs. The butcher was very nice and informative. I wasn't sure which marinated asada to order. I couldn't get ahold of my family to ask. The butcher was very patient and explained the differences between the meats. I thought that was so nice of him. Usually when I go to meat markets they're kinda rushy. Came home, and cooked the meat it was sooo delicious. Definitely worth the price! I would recommend this place. They were super nice and you can tell their employees care about their customers. I've tried marinated meats at so many places. This one I have to say is the best!

Love their menudo. It does not smell so you can taste the meat better. They give you real dried red chilli and your choice of Bolillo bread or tortillas on the side. Perfect Saturday/Sunday morning breakfast.

All I can say is that the Carne Asada here is amazing. To give reference, I put King Taco Carne Asada as one of my favorites, in my eyes, the Carne Asada here at the Whittier Ranch Market is even better than that. The store also has fresh vegetables, a deli and general merchandise which can make it a quick stop and pick up essential items.
