Kroger

I custom ordered a cake days in advance of the pickup date. When I arrived, I was handed a cake with no writing and no candles (submitted with the order and supposed to come with the cake). I mentioned it to the employee who apologize and stated that they have a new ordering system and are not used to it yet. They told me that they didn’t have the specific candles ordered by the bakery and I could go check the bakery aisle. Another employee wrote happy birthday on the cake while I waited, and I was less impressed with the writing on it as you can see in the photo. I did then go to the baking aisle and located the candles that I was supposed to be given with the cake. This was my first order with Kroger bakery, and I doubt I would place another order. It was a less than desirable experience, the flavor is to be determined. I will update the review once we taste it.

At 740am on a Sunday morning, there were no manned checkout lanes open but 3 employees were standing around just laughing & chatting at the self-checkout attendant station. As I was self-checking out, one more employee came from the back to join them, as well as another one who walked in the store and clocked in (time clock right near the door) and joined the personal discussions. It was very unprofessional and management should have assigned at least one to a register to assist customers. They did greet me when I came up and said goodbye when I left. Outside of that, it was like they were all on break socializing instead of working.

Moe Manager need to better train employees here. Seriously I never experience bad costumer service at any kroger until this location . Never coming back to this one.

On Saturday, December 13, I shopped at this location and purchased the Freshpet Small Dog Chicken and Turkey Roll. To my surprise, it cost $7.49, which is the same price as the Freshpet Small Dog Multi-Protein Roll. I compared the price of the Freshpet Small Dog Chicken and Turkey Roll at Meijer and Walmart. At those stores, the Small Dog Chicken and Turkey Roll costs $5.98 and the Multi-Protein Roll costs $7.49. I believe that Kroger is overcharging for the Freshpet Small Dog Chicken and Turkey Roll.

Not my best experience at a Kroger and I won't be going back to this one. The store is small and not well kept and the cashier was not friendly. They did have what I went in for, so 3 stars for that 👍🏻

So happy with the amazing customer service I received today in the floral department. When I came in the floral manager Kim was very busy and had several customers ahead of me. She asked me while she was assisting the other customers how she could help me. I said I needed a wrist corsage for a daddy daughter dance the same day. Although she really didn't have time to make one she set out to do just that. She artfully created a beautiful and sweet corsage for my daughter. She was super polite and friendly despite the fact she was clearly swamped. That is the type of customer service that keeps people coming back to a business. I would have given 5 stars for this experience but was thinking back to two nights before at night around 10:30 or 11 on Feb 13th I was picking up a few things when I hear a female manager literally screaming at the employees about the amount of time they take for their breaks. I didn't see her because I was not near her but I could hear her yelling. Very unprofessional. I wasn't the only one taken aback by this as I saw another customer look at me with wide eyes and just say "wow".

I lost a substantial amount of money,I was sure that it was gone,called the customer service desk,spoke to Anita,and she told me someone handed it in! Shock is an understatement! Anita was so helpful and nice. I usually shop at the Cherry Hill store,but because of my positive experience, I will be shopping here from now on. The customers are honest and did the right thing in my case. If the person who handed my money in,THANK YOU! I live on a fixed income and that was the last of my funds until the 3rd. Just blown away at the kindness at this store.
