Hornbill Asian Market LLC

I’m originally from Minneapolis and there are Asian/African supermarkets everywhere so it has been difficult for me to move to Lansing Iowa for work and not be able to cook my authentic food. I thought I would have to do a 6 hour round trip back to Minnesota to be able to buy supplies but I am SO happy that I found this place. I had to drive one hour and 45 mins one way (3.5 hours round trip) but so much better than 3 hours. I almost cried when I saw the store lol. It’s a little expensive than Minnesota but I assume that due to supply and demand but I was still happy to pay it faithfully 🤗

My family enjoys exploring all this market has to offer. We find something new to try everything we visit. I can get all the assistance I need when I ask. I'm happy with this place. We will continue to visit often.

This is one of the better asian markets in the area, I drive 40min just to go here because of the selection and the prices. I highly recommend going here if you're looking for staples or just good snacks

Probably one of the best Asian grocery stores I have been to. I purchased live lobster and blue crabs, when I was shopping the other day. They were FEISTY, which is what you want when making these items. I made a wonderful Thai Crab and Lobster Soup, with the ingredients I purchased that day. The owners are nice and very helpful.

For the first time coming to this store I am loving it. Has everything your looking for at great prices as well. I rec this store if your looking for all Asian food and spices. I am glad I came to this store

Great selection of products and good prices, for some items. Not everything has a price tag and certain things are way overpriced

We are so lucky to have this market in our neighborhood. I look forward to going to Hornbill because I am warmly greeted when I come in. There is plenty of room and selection for what you may be looking for. Lots of delicious food and ingredients. Very affordable produce and they accept EBT so this is even better because they are feeding our community. Go check it out and browse. Everything is organized well but be prepared for every thing to not be priced. That would usually give me anxiety but it's never over priced or what I didn't expect it to cost.
