Hannaford

They have carried out a nice renovation since I was there last. I had defected to using Market Basket which is closer to my house. I was not expecting to go to Hannaford's today but was with a friend so we stopped there. The problem: since I wasn't in my own car, I had no supermarket shopping bags with me. It is bad enough that you have to pay 10 cents a bag to carry out your food. Guaranteed the bags do not cost them 10 cents apiece. WORSE: the paper bags were garbage. They tore almost immediately when I tried to pick them up. They weren't that heavily loaded but all three tore. If they are going to make you pay for paper bags, the least they can do is give you a functional bag.

No crowd at the pharmacy at 11am. Also bought some flowers at the florist. The lines at checkout were long. But at self checkout I breezed by.

It was a fantastic experience there is nothing like this in my area. Went for 2 sweet potatoes 🥔 😋 and got additional items and got this California roll was nice with ginger and Wasabi. Thank you great experience

Hands down my favorite place to go cheap and great quality everything 🙌

Such a big store and the price is great! They have really great parking positions for handicap.

Store is extremely unkept and dirty at all times. Inventory and stock is always bare minimum for staple items that should be full and plenty. Prices continue to rise here and instead of More For Your Dollar like MB, you definitely are getting LESS for your dollar at this location. Meat and vegetables aren’t much better quality either. Definitely not the same type of business they had done before. Check out the bread below that was available for you to purchase last night.
