Customer Reviews
ACME Markets has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 based on over 1024 reviews on Google
I would zero stars if I could. I order a box of 50 pieces of chicken half fried half roasted just legs and breast. The order was not ready when we picked it up on the 29th of November. The guy behind the counter was rude and said the guy who was supposed to make it didn’t feel like and just left. Well I finally got the order it was not right. The chicken both fried and roasted was so tough. That God I had alot other food. Never again.
Sky is an exceptional cashier. Always friendly and helpful. She greets you like she's known you forever. Treats you with respect. Cares about customers needing assistance. Always look for her when checking out.
I've never left a review before but I'm posting this for awareness for others who are considering ordering from the bakery!! I placed an online order for a cake 5 days ago and went today to pick it up and they told me that no one printed out my order. Very inconvenient but it is what it is. Wouldn't recommend if you have an important event coming up and are depending on a cake to be made.
I have been a loyal customer of this Acme location for over two years, and what happened tonight was completely unacceptable. With only one cashier available, I used the self-checkout in front of Customer Service to ring up my items. As I attempted to leave, my shopping cart abruptly locked. A man then approached me and said, "I locked your cart because even if I saw you pay for your items, I’m not sure you paid for everything." There was absolutely no legitimate reason to treat me this way. I was publicly stopped, questioned, and made to feel like a thief despite having paid for all of my items. This was humiliating, unprofessional, and entirely inappropriate. I felt targeted and disrespected, and this incident has completely broken my trust in this location.
I'm new in town so I went there today just to check it out, the place is actually really clean and neat, the Shelfs were nicely organized they have good prices also. I went to get oxtails they don't carry it. I like the international aisle it has a decent amount of Asian and Indian ingredients. Overall I'm definitely shopping there is only 4 min from my place. 👍
What an absolute miserable place to shop... Firstly the place is a DUMP. Dirty & dimly lit. All the shopping carts go all over the place. They move the items around every couple months so its impossible to find what you're looking for, and the freezer section is a joke. All of the ice cream is frosted over and disgusting. To add, the management here is rude too with stupid policies. I had maybe 16-20 items and I went to self checkout and this boomer worker freaks out on me saying "15 items or less" - as someone who works in customer service I can say her tone and lack of professionalism was disappointing to say the least. No idea how people like her have jobs. If someone in their 20's acted like that to a customer they'd be fired. Anyway, This policy makes no sense - so they are building ALL these self checkout lanes but you can't have over 15 items? Well if that's the case they have a bunch of registers open, right?.... Nope, one register open with a line. So instead of using the easy and fast self checkout I have to wait 15 minutes in line when I could be HOME by then. What a miserable, "customer last" experience.
I enjoy the variety of food including fruit, meats, healthy options and cheese (although I can rarely find gruyere) at acme especially the gluten free and vegan options. I wish there was some fresh gluten free breads or desserts. To be able to shop here consistently, you have to buy the sales which is the older food. Weirdly, I have a sensitive nose and this particular store has a faint smell of plastic. Staff is very helpful and nice. They help you bag sometimes and have a nice chat like the old days.
