Heritage Market Center

This is a solid shopping center with everything from gas, to groceries, a pharmacy and locksmith in Safeway, and several good eateries! The Thai, Mexican, Sushi, and Pizza are all great options. Or if you are in the mood for kombucha or to try out many local beers, ciders, etc on tap, there's Gossip in the Grain. There's also dry cleaning, a vape shop, a Dollar Tree, massage, and physical therapy place. It's really got a bit of everything and is a great location.

This a great Safeway. They will not price match any item. They are usually higher than any of the other grocery chains. They are clean and well stocked always. Helpful to find items you might need. I have purchased many birthday cakes from their bakery. The baked good are very good. Fresh French bread in the afternoon. The pharmacy staff is wonderful for the most part. They are very busy!

Today it was a Safeway trip, but the Hertiage Market center has a good variety of stores and restaurants to support our local neighborhood here.

It has been a year and this Safeway review needed an update. Unfortunately things have not changed much with the exception that it’s only gotten worse. I went to get my sour cream out for dinner a couple of nights ago and this picture shows what I had to look at: The date on it says 12 February 2024. I decided to look up how long past the "buy by this date" is sour cream supposed to be good and every website said 3 weeks!! I’ve just had it with these guys. At this point, I’d rather pay more money somewhere else for the exact same purchases because I at least know I can rely on freshness, fruit and veggies that taste the way they are supposed to taste. The one and only thing my husband and I will miss is Solomon, the friendliest, most efficient cashier and now friend anywhere! He’s the only reason we gave it another year of buying disappointing food with a lack of choice in other areas of the store. This Safeway gives other Safeways a bad reputation. Below you will find my initial review: This Safeway is one of the worst I have ever been to and unfortunately it is the only one in my neighborhood. Their shelves always seem to be half empty. They don't have a very good selection and they rarely have anything that's new. Worst of all is that buying their produce is like throwing money in the garbage. It's generally not close to being ripe or once in a while over ripe. So frustrating.

I like this marketplace because it is truly a one-stop shop. You can grocery shop, drop off dry cleaning, get your nails and wax done, and don't forget the dollar store. I can feed my car (gas) and feed myself with an array of foods. Enjoy!

This is a large strip mall with a good balance of stores, restaurants and a gas station. They have a wide range of cuisine at the eateries. They have a sandwich shop, the southern food restaurant, a burger joint, a pizza parlor and one of the better Mexican taquerias in Vancouver. Of course the centerpiece is Safeway. I love this store the location is great but I'm tired of having to have a card and now I have to have digital this and digital that and it never seems to work. I've gotten home checked my receipt several times in my discounts have not been on there. Very disappointing. I ordered a Thanksgiving dinner from Safeway this year and it was horrible. The turkey was frozen solid the potatoes were disgusting and they're just overall wasn't anything good to be said for an $80 dinner. I will never do it again this is my second year and the second year I was disappointed. I really thought the first time was just a fluke but boy was I wrong
