We were excited to try this location; however, were let down in our expectations. The deli was lacklustre of service, overpriced items, minimal cashiers. In highlight, the store is extremely organized and clean.

Interesting place but a little less of variety! Clean isles and staffs too!

Great selection of Asian products - Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Middle Eastern. Great selection of Japanese meats, fresh seafood - SUPER clean market. Dim Sum quick pick, as well as Chinese food to go & Roasted Duck & BBQ Pork

This place may haunt my OCD dreams forever, not because it was disorganized, in fact it was because it was SO organized that my OCD knows I will never ever be able to obtain the same amount of order in my own life. The organized shelves helped lessen the chaos of not being able to read the labels and know what any of the products actually were. The shelf stockers were helpful when I couldn't find a few things, due to complete ignorance on my part, but the service clerk at the help desk wouldn't give me the time of day. I'd go again, in fact, I already have.

168 market is a new store. It is operated by the same folks behind 99 Ranch market. 168 market is an Asian grocery store with focus on Chinese goods. It’s almost identical to 99 Ranch except it seems to be slightly smaller. the produce is laid out identically to 99 Ranch. I had no problem finding produce and grocery items. The meat and fresh fish section was impressive. There was not even the slightest fishy smell. Some of the specials were pretty spectacular, but there weren’t quite as many specials as the 99 Ranch would have. There was pretty good depth as far as Chinese grocery items were concerned. However, it didn’t seem to be as comprehensive as 99 Ranch as far as other Asian specialties for instance, Korean or Japanese. So I would say this 168 market does not replace a 99 Ranch but It’s a welcome addition in an area where there are very few Chinese groceries. It is a new store. The staff were attentive and courteous, but it was pretty clear they’re still learning.

I don’t know why it’s taken me such a long time to check out 168 which is one of the newest Asian markets in Vallejo. They have all of your hot pot and kbbq needs. Located at the old Gold’s Gym and there is plenty of parking, located at the same plaza as the neighborhood Wal mart. My family likes to come here to get combo meals because they are huge portions! From chow fun noodles, fried rice, chicken, eggplant, vegetables, dim sum to go, and sesame balls! All of our favorites, service is quick and all of the workers are nice and friendly!

A clean, bright and exceptionally large Asian food market that's definitely the best in Solono and Contra Costa Counties. An extremely large selection of fresh and frozen fish with large tanks full of live crab, fish and shell fish. The produce department is full of fresh vegetables and fruits that just aren't available in American markets. They have prepared foods and freshly baked cakes, cookies and breads. Plenty of parking and a friendly staff.
