🚨 Serious Quality Control Issue at ShopRite 🚨 I purchased a box of Magnum Mini ice cream bars from ShopRite, and to my shock, multiple bars inside the box had clearly been opened and resealed by someone. The wrappers were tampered with—torn and then reclosed to look untouched—and it’s obvious that this package had been contaminated. This is not just a quality issue, it’s a health and safety hazard. How does something like this even make it to the shelf? I expected better from a store like ShopRite. This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable, especially when we’re talking about food safety. I’ve attached photos as proof. I urge management to take this seriously, investigate this issue, and improve your product monitoring and security to prevent this from happening again. I will be reconsidering where I buy my groceries until I see that steps are being taken.
The cashier, jobeth, was very kind and professional. Come to find out, she was new & being trained! A young man, who is already a manager, helped out regarding clearance items. Competentent and efficient. Store was clean and organized well.
My sister and I were shopping today at this particular location. We each bought three cases of water and a lot of other little things. When we got to the register the person behind the register, Michelle, I told my sister that she could not lift the case of water and that the scanner wasn't working - so that my sister had to lift it up onto the belt. My sister is 73.5 years old and I am 76.5 years old. My sister was kind enough to lift the case and I couldn't get to my sister to stop her because those damn wagons are in the way with such narrow lanes. When we left the store, I called and I spoke to a young man who was very kind. Then he passed me on to the manager, Maria, who couldn't give a damn. Needless to say that is the last time I will go into that store. They have no respect for anyone. And, incidentally, if the person behind the register is unable to lift a certain amount of weight, she should be put in another position or not work there at all. That is the last time I go into that store. I shopped in stores on Staten Island for over 9 years and never had an incident. Since I moved to this area in New Jersey, I find nothing but very rude people.. Doesn't anybody here know how to run a grocery store? I am truly disgusted buy this chain in this area of New Jersey. Buyers please beware. We will never shop there again.
Store was very busy for a Monday afternoon. Shelves were mostly well stocked. And I won $55 on scratch off lottery tickets, so not a bad day.
This store is fair at best. Produce is usually awful, meat selections are not consistent, and some cashiers are "PAID" STICKER CRAZY!! My last experience was ridiculous...the cashier placed "PAID" stickers on so many items that I bagged...eggs, crumb cake, flour etc! I asked her to stop with the stickers, but she continued...even on the poinsettias. Instead of placing the stickers on the protective cellophane, she placed them on the red foil...so difficult to get off.
They pulled me in security office The girl couldn’t be more than 18 years old they for eating a couple of grapes while I was shopping Asking me for my drivers license then they wanted to take a picture of me ,then a month later I got a bill for $120 from them you can’t make this up,then later that week they made my wife with two small order six items and eight items to one order at a time then go to the back of the line to expedite the other order, this place needs a hospitality check or maybe a course in hospitality will never shop here again. They just lost about $28,000 a year Bad business.
Asyiah was our cashier in training and she was amazing silly and very person. However, the bathroom experience was disgusting… The Asian soup in the sushi section was greasy. All items that I purchased were very tasty and Asia was my highlight of the experience. Keep her around as cashier and she will grow prosper and make the store great again.
