I bought 2 plate of Sweet rice Mung been . Take home .. both of them already got Moldy…. So bad … I brought it back and talk to one of the female owner … All she said is cashier give your money back , not even a words " sorry " … or what so ever ….to admit .. I am a franchisee owner of Qick Service Restaurants many years so I knew and understand what is the Life’ shelf for those foods …. Leave the prepared foods all day on the tables in the room temperature / that is Danger Zone Temperature ( 🍽️ Food Safety Danger Zone: •   40°F to 140°F (4°C to 60°C) What i don’t understand is why they got a Great from Food inspections sticker on their window ???? We need to reconsidering … Health Department food Inspector of Pierce County should known this ….. if I can give them a zero star i would or i will reposting…make it clear to protect public Health…

Very disappointed with how one of the female employees treats customers. The attitude was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. No one should be spoken to that way in a place meant to serve the public. I’m a regular shopper here, but after this experience I don’t think I will return. Management should seriously address staff behavior because it reflects poorly on the business.

I love cultural hubs like this place, but we live two blocks away and they are consistently out of essentials. Butter, milk, asparagus, etc. Plenty of Power Puff Girls sour candy treats and other weird snacks. I suppose with Safeway not too far away they don’t have to serve the community. I just can’t go here anymore and waste my time.

I come here for the wide array of tea and meats. I've got and made pekking duck from here and got all my ingredients for my first ever cooked duck. 🙂

The market is great. This review is for the deli only. The food is good but, the last few times I ordered food from their hot case and it was completely cold. It wasn't always like this.

HKS has everything you need for making and serving Asian cuisine. The in-store deli has an array of pre-made meals, hot case, and individually wrapped bean and pork pastries. We purchased pork humbow and what appeared to be a type of fresh roll filled with pork and mushroom. The humbows were large enough that we felt one is plenty if there are other sides to go with it. The rice pastry was filled with ground pork, sausage, and egg. They only took 7min to steam.
